Dr. Martens, also known as Doc Martens, Docs, or DMs, has stomped its way into history since 1901. Originally created by Dr. Klaus Maertens, a German soldier who designed a comfortable air-cushioned boot to aid his recovery from a broken foot, the footwear quickly gained popularity. In 1960, the brand we know today was born with the iconic 1460 boot, adopted by British working-class youth and later embraced by various subcultures for its durability and rebellious spirit.
Dr. Martens prioritizes both timeless design and rugged construction. Their shoes are instantly recognizable by their air-cushioned sole, yellow stitching, and utilitarian details. Made with high-quality leather, Dr. Martens boots and shoes are built to withstand years of wear and tear, making them a true investment piece.
These doc martens are so comfortable and in great condition
I am a huge Doc Marten fan, but have been away from the brand for the last 10 years. Very glad to get back into these shoes, and the color is awesome. I am a size 11, and these fit perfect. The only warning to folks new to this style of Doc Marten is that they are stiff and require some break-in period.
I wear a size 13US Mens but had to send the first pair back and order the 14s and those still feel a little smaller than what I'm used to. Broke in nicely. Toe looks a bit more narrower in IRL vs the pictures but good looking shoes that can work with casual or dress.
One of many pairs of Doc Martens I have owned, extremely well-made shoes, very size accurate.
I've never once ordered a new pair of Docs that had the laces already in them. Though these didn't have creases in the leather, the laces were in. I'm led to believe that these shoes were shipped to someone else, returned, and then sold to me as new. I suppose it's the same as if I had gone to a shoe store. There's a good chance that someone may have tried on the same pair that I buy. Not a big deal, but they should indicate that these are customer returns. The shoes themselves are fine. First pair of Docs I've had from the Vietnam factory. (had Thailand, China, England) Fit and finish is as expected for Docs. I'll have to wait and see if they last as well as others have. The Antique Cherry Temperely color is nice, not quite red, not quite mahogany, darker at the toe and heel and change appearance depending on lighting.
the shoes are comfortable, but they are NOT BRAND NEW, some creases and scratches appear on the shoes' front, quite sure they are tried and returned by someone before
Have been looking for old skool ox blood Docs, with original sole, but every time I'd order them elsewhere they'd arrive and have utility sole. These are exactly what I've been looking for. Comfy, sturdy, 90's style! The only thing I'd change is the stitching. These have black instead of original yellow.
