Designed with Dryshod WIXIT Cool-Clad arimesh lining and added micro-dot perforations to wick away moisture and improve airflow, keeping your feet comfortable and dry. Easy on and off with ‘shoehorn-like’ top and 4-way stretch material. Features a generous heel kick to easily ‘kick off’ your boots. Specially designed tread to offer superior traction on all terrain, especially in wet and muddy conditions. DS5 Outsole – The DS-5 outsole is made of durable solid gum rubber with a tread design particularly suited for wet and muddy conditions. The perimeter lugs, heel strike and toe plate are serrated to provide optimum grip on rough surfaces while the interior lugs are long and smooth to provide optimum grip on smooth wet surfaces. The system of grooves between the lugs provide excellent lateral/medial flex and quickly channel water and debris out and away with every step. The round shape of the grooves also prevents mud and grit from caking and holding during use. For added durability, the DS-5 sole is welt-vulcanized to the upper and guaranteed to hold tight for the life of the boot.

These are used to work daily in a vineyard setting. I'm on my feet for long hours and am climbing up and down on tractors and these boots are probably the best boots I've had for the warmer months(May-Oct). I do rotate them daily with my Redback leather boots when the vineyard is dry. Both are great boots but I'm finding the Sod Buster to be more supportive and comfortable. The Redbacks stay a little cooler inside the boot. Thus far the Sod Busters seem to be very durable after a few months of wearing them daily.
These look well made but I'm surprised how heavy they are. I realize that I need a size 15 but I used to wear steel toe metatarsal work boots for work and these feel just as heavy or heavier. Luckily, I will only use these for yard work or shoveling snow.
My husband loves these for working in the garden! Unlike other "gardening boots", they are very sturdy and stable(which is great for his bad knees). Decently breathable, keeps your feet dry, and easy to slip on and off! And it's true...buy it a size down from your normal boot size.
Boot is well made and there is no denying that. The length of the fit is perfect, however these are very wide and loose fitting. Your foot will slide forward and backwards if going up or down any incline to the point where it’s painful on toes after some time. Your heel will slip Due to the extra room inside and loose fit around ankles and foot. I have normal width feet and wear a 10-10.5 typically so I ordered the 10. I think the 9 would be too short as I do not have much room in toe. This is no fault of the seller and I wore them outside to test them so did not feel right returning. I’d recommend looking for a different low height boot or buy a tall boot that you know fits and cut it down to desired height. There are not many good low height rubber boot options.
Great boot for the garden or muddy yard. Comfortable and so far very durable. Easy to slip on and off. They were exactly what I needed.
My husband is HARD to please and fit in footwear. His giant wide foot went right on in these boots without a struggle. He loves them. What don't I like??? I wanted to buy him a back up pair and they're sold out.:(
