Bought these shoes for my dad who wears a foot brace to help with foot drop since his stroke. Was great to be able to order these with the extra wide width to accommodate this. The velcro straps are easy for him to adjust. He did need to go up a half size however because they seem to run a little smaller than his normal size in length. Very comfortable and nice brown leather dress shoe. He really likes these!
I read the reviews before buying, and many of the negative reviews spoke of the top strap not being large enough, or something to that effect. But when I got to see them for myself, the straps were the same size and when I put them on, they still looked the same size. The quality of the shoe was excellent from sole to tongue. I am 100% satisfied and expect to buy them again. My foot is not real wide, so maybe that makes a difference? I planned to use them for work, but so far they are so nice I have been using them for dress.
Walking.
Size 10W. As noted by others, the Velcro straps are too short. The shoes are nice appearing and seem well made. However, time will tell how lasting they are, so my 4-star rating should be considered tentative.
I have a narrow foot and consequently, have not been able to find a good pair of narrow house slippers that would fit me. After purchasing numerous pairs of narrow slippers, I finally gave up because every "narrow" slipper I bought would fall off my feet. Then, I saw these shoes online and decided to give them a try. Hallelujah and pass the ammo....these narrow shoes are a great substitute for house slippers. They actually fit with no slipping or sliding and they are very light, soft and supple, easy to put on and take off, and can even be worn outside. Finally, a slipper/shoe that people with narrow feet can be comfortable wearing.
I have been looking for a pair of comfortable shoes with good support for my feet. The only issue I had was that the straps were a bit stiff and I have s little arthritis . I solved that issue by using a pair of long nose vice grips to grab the strap. I added a pair of special inserts to correct a misalignment of my feet. I just ordered another pair.
I wear the shoes all the time..
I knew this was going to be a good shoe as my hubby has a black pair he loves. I delayed rating this until after Christmas since it was a present. Now that he has the shoes, I can say he is very happy to have them and they are just as comfortable as his other pair. Highly recommend this product. He's had his black ones for a couple of years and they just don't wear out. They support his feet which is very much needed and they look nice, too.New update: Finally had to order a new pair. They're still made well and for perfectly.This is an update: The shoes are still being worn but are starting to break down a bit, so ordered him another pair for hot standby. He is a large and heavy man and does a lot of walking and standing on concrete floors. He is still very happy with the shoes, but we just wanted to have a pair in reserve when these are really shot.
