I have borrowed a pair of Helsinki's from my dad over the years and decided it was time to get my own pair. So i got these Helsinki 2's. At first they were a little tight, but upon further inspection I realized the bottom layer of the insole was removable! I have flat feet, so I need this extra room in my shoe. If you buy these and they don't feel quite right/too tight, try removing the insole on the bottom before returning.
The stitching around the toe is not the same on the black and the mink versions of this shoe. The mink version (at least the one I got a few years ago) has stitching running toward the toe which gives it a sporty look. The black version (which I just got) has a plain toe. Hardly sporty, it looks like you work in a garage. Otherwise the same high quality comfortable shoe.
Excellent quality. Slightly narrower in the toe area than slip ons. Fits more like 42.5 than 43
Love the style. Very dressy and extremely comfortable. Thanks to the wide opening at the toes, your toes will not get bunched up. Got a few compliments from folks saying it looks very sharp and stylish. Highly recommend it!
I have wore Ecco shoes for years never had an issue. This shoe seemed like a seconds it had already been sold once before as it had a return slip from 3 months earlier. Will not be buying online going forward
Ecco shoes provide the best arch support!!! And are a must if your feet and ankles pronate inward. The side re-enforcement is unmatched. Your shoe keeps a nice snug fit with an amazing arch. ALL SHOES SHOULD HAVE ECCO’s STANDARDS AS A MINIMUM!
