Fit perfectly and look great day after day.
These are very comfortable shoes that can be worn either formal or informally. I bought my first pair in black and wore them on a trip and they worked well with with a tux as well as just daily for wear with a polo and slacks. They have a removable leather footbed and a fabric footbed under that. I have a medium width foot that fit well with the removable footbed in, however, they would probably work for someone that has a wide foot with the removable footbed out. I bought the dark brown this time since I liked the black so much. Very comfortable for me...
This shoe has a thick, difficult to bend sole. Walking is very uncomfortable. I'll return it.
Husband had a pair from this same line many years ago that were fantastic. The price is much higher now and overall the shoe is far less cushioned and comfortable. Have had the shoes for 2 months and he just told me now that the tongue of one shoe slides to the side and NEVER stays straight, causing pain. When I looked, it was plain to see that the shoe is defective and the leather tongue was placed crookedly, causing it to rotate sideways. Sadly, it is outside the return window, but Amazon is able to provide special assistance with a return for a $40.00 re-stocking fee. Better than nothing. Ecco, I expected better for the price.
These shoes are great. I ignored the sizing chart and ordered the size I usually wear and it worked out great.
Very comfortable with ample toe room. I think they are classic and stylish, can be worn dressed up or with a nice pair of jeans. I purchased the dark brown polished style of leather. I walk a lot living in the city, they are comfortable and grip well on wet pavement. I would highly recommend to someone looking for a classic derby with updated comfort and function.
