At a minimum, all dress shoes should be made like ECCO’s!!!!!! The reinforcement along the sides of the shoes, and the arch support is second to none. It is the NEW BALANCE of dress shoes. If you are flat footed or have foot issues, ECCOS are a minimum requirement. Just like NEW BLANCE are a minimum requirement for athletic foot ware. It is worth the price. And the price is reasonable for quality.
Light weight shoe ideal for standing for a long time and comfortable to walk in. It’s what I’d expect from ECCOs.

Poor quality not the level expected from ECCO and it doesn't fit well.
I've been buying Ecco dress shoes for years. Great comfort, no break in required. I wondered about these when I saw them for $85. Eccos? Really? But I thought I'd give them a shot.Not the Eccos I was looking for. Style is similar to others I've had but the fit was noticeably lacking. All I had to do was try them on and I knew they were going back. I guess the real Eccos are pricy for a reason. Ah well. it was worth a shot.
