ATTENTION: pay attention to the type of shoe you're buying, you can purchase ELLIE or FUNTASMA brands from this listing, I purchased the ELLIE brand (the shoe with the black laces). To make it easy on you, I will simply make a list of pros and cons:Pros:- does not look cheap- comfortable- looks like the photoCons:- a wee bit too big, maybe by a half size.- be careful what you buy, either you are purchasing 105-Saddle shoes by Ellie, or Saddle-50 by Funtasma. I wasn't sure which shoe I would be receiving since the listing is for Funtasma. But the option I chose was the Ellie shoe, and that is what arrived. So check before you confirm your purchase.- the bottom heel wasn't completely attached, but it's an easy fix. Purchase some shoe tacks and finish the job, but if shoe tacks aren't available then go to a hardware store and buy some 3/4 inch wire brads. I used wire brads, and they work well.- in the heel of one of the shoes, it feels like there is a lump. I'm not sure if it's the way I'm walking or if it's the actual shoe, but I've never felt anything like this before.After a day, like leather and man-man leather does, it creased at the toes of the shoe. They're not too noticeable, though. I've owned them for a week and they are holding up well and I enjoy them. A good purchase, all for around $30.
I love these shoes! I used them for my 50s poodle skirt, I thought at first the shoes looked a little stiff, but when I put the on they were very comfortable and cute!!!
I wear size 7.5 but this shoe didn't have half sizes so after reading some reviews, I went up and ordered a size 8. The shoes, and I'm not complaining, are noticeably bigger than what I wear. They'd be a perfect fit for anyone who really fits a size 8.But if you really like the shoes but are in the half-size category, I'd just say to wear thicker socks and go ahead and get a pair.The reason I gave four stars instead of five is because these shoes do crease very easily. I only walked in them once and the folds were noticeable. This is really not that big of a deal especially considering the price, but I wanted to mention it just in case.In the end, I'm not disappointed, the shoes are true to size and are comfortable enough to wear through a day and don't look too costume-y. I'd wear them casually or semi-casually.I'd recommend to anyone looking for a pair of attractive, inexpensive shoes.
I bought these for a costume and they were a great fit. I had to wear some slightly thicker socks than expected and the soles are a bit hard. However I marched a whole parade and partied all night with nary a blister in sight. Definitely recommend if you need them for a costume. If you wanted them for normal day to day wear though, you might want to get some comfy insert soles.
