Comfortable and fit perfect. Wear the all day.
I started wearing this specific style when it was still produced by Converse. Back then they were a 100% leather and virtually unbreakable, not to mention comfort they used to provide. Nowadays, Grabbers should be ashamed by putting such a subpar product on a market. I wore these for 10 days and they start to fall apart. Huge disappointment!
I honestly didn't expect much from these shoes, but mine were falling apart and needed a pair asap. They looked like the ones I had that lasted a long time that were extremely comfortable, but shockingly the Grabbers G1120 Work Shoe did a darn good job of replacing the shoes I had that I loved. They are comfortable, the leather remains nice, and the shoe laces are still not frayed. The price of the Grabbers was also amazing, very affordable. I would buy these exact shoes again.I wear them so much that the bottom of the heel is starting to sort of peel off, but that's just because I do wear them A LOT. It isn't major and I honestly will just throw some JB weld under the sole to fix the issue and they are brand new again. Thanks for reading!!!!
These are some of the most comfortable casual oxfords I've ever owned. Excellent cushioning, solid-looking construction, and overall decent materials. The soles are extremely "grippy" and I don't have any worries about slipping while wearing these. I got them for office/business casual wear, that is mostly at a desk, but occasionally involves going onto shop floor or outside worksites. I would be confident, however, that they would wear well and be very comfortable for long-term wear in a position that involves a lot of standing or walking. The reason for only 4 stars, is that the leather on the top of the toe box area creased significantly within the first day of wear. I minor nitpick, and it happens with any oxford, but I've never had it happen in the first day of use, to this degree.
I work at a barbecue restaurant. I have seen some of the most slippery surfaces known to man and these shoes stood strong against whatever I threw at them my past few shifts. They haven't caused any blistering and they don't crush my toes like my last pair of Slip Resistant shoes did. These look nice too. I would purchase these again.I recommend getting some good insoles however. If you work on a surface like tile your feet will "cry uncle." There is also a bit of soreness where the shoe meets my ankle, but I experience this with all shoes that are cut low until I break them in a little.
I bought Grabber Boots, and they fit just fine. These fit, but the soles are at least a half an inch longer than the soles on the boots, making them awkward to walk in.
Narrow foot review. If you don't have a narrow foot, this isn't for you.The shoe is wider than I would have hoped. Therefore, hardly any arch support. I have to use an insole which helps alot. But I never like doing that with shoes honestly. The shoe looks and feels clumsy while walking around. Dumpy ugly behind shoes. I dont use it on any floor with grease or anything so I don't know how it would fare with that. But it's better than a dress shoe.
A co-worker and I both bought a pair of Grabbers. We are servers and wanted shoes with a little toe room. They shortly started to tear at the top. Not a shoe you'll have for long.
