The design of this shoe is excellent for a broad shaped foot. I do truly love these shoes. One one half size small though to keep in mind. Shoe is sturdy and comfortable. I f I had one comment to make which may be an issue in the near future is the design at the heel where shoe wraps around ankle area. It does not appear to be properly supported so as not to bend with a crease, about 1/2" down from the to of the shoe which will weaken the shoe integrity as a whole. Have not worn them enough to see if bottom of sole wears quickly or is solid and not worn down too easily/I am very hard on my shoes and can see wear rather quickly if it is a concern.
