I absolutely love these boots! They’re a simple design and take a LOT of abuse but hold up amazingly well.I have duck shaped feet (narrow ankle/heel, high arch, wide toe box) and these boots keep my feet happy all day (10hr work day industrial work). The support is surprisingly good and I’ve been wearing my first pair for about 8 months. They’re beat to heck but only have minor wear on the toes and souls.I would highly recommend these boots for anyone needing a safety toe boot for work who usually goes through a pair every 6 months. I may actually get a full year out of my first pair which is incredibly impressive.
The boots seem sturdy, well made and are very comfortable with good arch support. Still breaking in but 1 week all good. I have had multiple toe surgeries and got the boots for protection while working with horses, and so far seem they might be good for light hiking as well. For sizing, based on measurements on Keen site I was between half sizes, I sized up, good fit with just a bit of extra toe space which I needed.
Easiest boot to "work" in, no pain or blisters and correct sizing. Heavy construction easily damaged new look but so far holding up. Past pair (different model/design) held up 3 years! Perfect for wide fit!
Purchased to use while setting up permaculture slope preservation on a 40+ degree slope this winter. Couldn’t be happier. Sturdy, comfortable, and I can tell they will take a beating already. 5 stars.
More fashion than durable work boot. I love the look and the fit was great and I was able to dive right into work with no hot spots or breaking time. However my job as a tile setter seems to be more hard on shoes than I had thought even though I haven’t ever had this problem before. Only two days and I got a big fat hole right in the toe. I expected more, especially at $200 for a pair, I have also been wearing only keen work shoes now for years and I love them, well up until now. So I’m very disappointed. Keen shoes usually get 5 stars from me but today I would give 0 starts if possible.
These boots look nicer than the old Keen waterproof women's boot, but I found that they weren't as instantly comfortable as the discontinued design (the grey and blue ones, if you are a Keen regular like me). The waterproof feature has worked for me so far. I just got them so it remains to be seen if they will last as long as my previous 3 pairs of the discontinued design. The ankle is a little higher than the discontinued design, which isn't an issue, just something to be mindful of when selecting socks. I like the lace up pattern of these, it allows for a little more customization of ankle fit.
I have only worn these one time but they are not a comfy fit, they rub different areas of my feet.
I had a broken toe when these boots arrived and being advantageous, I wore new boots to the shipyard I work in. I log approximately 18,000 steps to 23,000 a night. The boot made this feel normal. I was amazed. I think it helped heal it quicker. It feels almost orthopedic. Customer for life.
