True to size, light weight extremely comfortable and cute!
I bought these shoes when our company decided we needed safety shoes for working in the clean room. I have worn Keen sandals for years, so I decided to give them a try. I just bought my 3rd pair. They are hands down the most comfortable safety shoes I have ever worn. I work 12 hour shifts on a manufacturing floor. My feet do not hurt at the end of the day! There are 2 things that keep me from giving them a 5 star rating.1. They squeak when you are walking.2. The heel collar wears out quickly and I end up replacing them ~every 8 months.
Great shoes. It was a relief to find some safety shoes that are actually comfortable.I tried 3 pairs of steel-toe/ composite-toe shoes before landing on these. My issue with the other brands I tried was the sizing was unpredictable and they were too narrow. With these shoes, the first pair I ordered fit perfectly, because the sizing was actually accurate. These are great. I typically wear an 8 wide or 8.5 regular (38/39 euro). So I ordered 8 wide for these shoes and they fit perfectly. They're light, they're not bulky, they're somewhat breathable, and most important, they're comfortable to stand and walk in for an 8 hour shift. The laces are also great quality; most shoes I have to double knot to prevent them from coming undone, but these stayed tied with a single knot. It's also easy to tighten the lacing (unlike a lot of boots or sneakers where if you let up pressure for a second before tying, they loosen right back up). I recommend them.
Very comfortable and look great! Like most Keen shoes there is plenty of room. Even after a long day of standing my feet are happy! Great shoe!!
Love love this keen with alloy not hurting my toes much better than steel toe very light and very comfy I add insulation material on my insole .need alloy on boots for winter please make winter boots with alloy
With the right insoles I’m sure this shoe would be comfortable. I originally thought maybe it was because I needed to break them in but , nope the insoles are horrible! Good quality shoe just need better arch support and comfort. I also wear a size 11 but this shoe runs a little small .
Unfortunately, I had to return these shoes. They were very uncomfortable in the toe area.
This is my 7th pair of safety toe shoes. Before these I have tried: Dr. Martens, Red Wings, Puma, two styles of Reebok including their popular Sublite (which is second best) and Keen Flint steel toes. These have been the best safety toe shoes that are ASTM 2413 certified. I work 12 hr shifts and am standing majority of it.Keen has good cushioning in the footbed across their lines of shoes; it is superior to other brands’ by a mile. I prefer this alloy toe to the Flint steel toe; it’s lighter weight, and the steel toe cap in the Flint style could actually be felt under the midsole. This shoe does not do that. You will need to break them in though. Once the midsole is molded to your feet it’s the best I’ve found. After 3 consecutive days of 12 hr shifts, my feet feel fatigued in these shoes, but not in pain. In the Reebok Sublite shoes they would be sore after the second day, and throbbing at the end of the third day. In the Dr. Marten’s I’d barely be able to walk, for comparisons. As of right now, it looks like this will be my go to shoe and my search is over. Will update in a few months.
