Have bought these shoes for my husband for years. First time buying the black ones. Very disappointed this time. Both shoes have split on the bottom of the sole right at the ball of the foot. Ordered them January 2023. My husband has always got a whole years out of these shoes. Very sad he only got 3 months.
Size is right, fits well, arrived on time, got delivery email confirmation.Will see if quality holds up over time, and will update accordingly.
The shoes were exactly the style I requested and looked nice. They ran a bit large, but that isn't the big problem. Without using them for anything other than normal walking use in the city, the soles cracked all the way across within a month!!! Terrible! The sole material - weak, low density FOAM rubber! - is just absolutely awful. I was going to ask for a replacement pair, but in this style (which is what I want), I can't imagine the soles being different the second time around. The problem isn't HOW they are put together, or some unusual defect, it's an inherently bad/cheap material. For the price I paid, I couldn't be more disappointed...
This shoe like all the Lugz I've bought in the past are so comfortable right out of the box. No break in required.
My hubby wears a 7 1/2. So I order an 8. It was 1/2 a size smaller at least. Over all they are to small. Had to send back.
1: Wow these have lasted a long time. Did not expect that at all.2: Fit me right.3: Insoles fit nicely.Update.1 year later I still wear these. I don’t know why they have lasted so long. Still in great shape. To be clear I do wear insoles so the inner where part I can’t be sure how that would work for others. But the shoe still look great. I want to head and ordered another pair just for fear that they’ll stop selling them.
