I did not want a very dark pair of dark brown shoes.
So, I just want to say, that I love these shoes. They are my 1st pair of brogues, after all. A slight bit bigger than what I wanted, but at size 5 and having ordered a size 5.5, I more or less expected it. I love the classy and elegant look they give off. And it's true leather as well. Makes me feel like I'm properly dressed to go to a formal shindig. My one issue with them is that they are darker than what is presented in the product image. In the image, you can see that the colors are subdivided from an overall lighter brown and the darker "lines" etched into the shoe. What I got was a shoe all of one solid color. Buy hey, as I said, I like them. Perhaps with time, they will age like good wine and then start to look more like the shoes presented. Either way, I will make them work wonders as they add class to every one of my steps and attire... provided I don't step in some chewing gum lol. Would highly recommend, especially at the price being offered. Shoes like these usually go for $100+. At 39.99, these are an absolute bargain. Now I just need a good suit to go with them.
