Son loves the fit (15W), comfort, and durability of these ANSI-rated steel-toe shop shoes. He has other steel-toe shoes but they seem cheap in comparison. These are much more comfortable and easy to get on/off. He sometimes wears them when he's not in shop, really likes Nautilus brand.

There is a huge difference between fit and function. This shoe is touted as a safety show with toe protection with ESD protection built in. As regards size both width and shoe size all I can comment is the pair I received did fit both in shoe size and width, however there ends any positive thing I can say about these. The reality is if you look carefully in the picture, the side has a deep cut-away. In fact that cut away goes to within 0.5" of the inner sole, so effectively the shoe has no side at all. Even if you tie it so tight you strangle your blood supply, after about 2 - 5 steps you can step out of them and it is impossible to keep them on your feet. I have never seen such useless safety footwear. If I could have given this zero stars I would have. Timberland PRO Men's Gorge MPO ESD Steel-Toe Oxford also available from Amazon look almost identical cost less and fit and work great. Don't waste your time with these.

A little stiff at first. They break in well. I just received my 3rd pair. My previous pairs lasted at least one year. They still have a little tread and one small hole in each shoe where the heel area material joins with the herl. I'm pretty rough on them as well.They feel great for someone with long and wide feet. The struggle is real for a size 14, width 4E. Arch support soles are recommended.

I ordered the shoes in the wide size and these seem to run a bit narrower than others that I have owned.Also, the insoles are paper thin. I recommend adding additional insoles for extra comfort.Other than that. I have had no issues with the safety toes as I have in other shoes. They look good and appear to be wearing well. I would recommend them to someone whose work is divided between standing and sitting. I'm not sure if I could stand in these shoes for an entire shift.

Got these for work since I visit a lot of places that require the steel toe, static dissipation, and non-slip features. I've been wearing them for about 9 months now and they are already starting wear holes in some rather odd places. Specifically on the inside lining of the heels. Some of the stitching on the outside is also starting to fray and I've already had to replace the laces that came with the shoe.I wouldn't say that they are bad, but they aren't great either. They're comfortable enough for a few hours, but do start to wear on you after a long day. They look decent, but they are already starting to fall apart. I'll keep wearing them until they actually die, but its happening sooner than I would have liked.All in all, I guess you get what you pay for. And I didn't really spend a lot on these, so I can't be all that mad.

I wear size 9.5-6e(9 1/2 xx-wide). It is hard to find shoes that fit, and even when a shoe says it is wide, it's often not. This is the first time since I was in junior high that I've had a pair of shoes, let alone steel toed boots, fit me correctly. I worked 10 hours today. My feet do not hurt. 10/10 would buy them again.My only complaint is that I prefer black footwear, which was unavailable.

This is my third set of nautilus steel toed shoes. I do ten hour shifts, four days a week and they are really comfortable on concrete all day. I have a wide foot and these have a really roomy toe area. They are a little pricey but good shoes.

I ordered my usual size of 11 extra wide. When I tried these shoes on the width was great but the length was too short. The end of my big toe was rubbing at the tip. I wanted to exchange it for an 11.5 but Amazon did not offer one in the extra wide width. I have returned the shoes and ordered a different style of Nautilus shoes.An update:I have tried three different pairs of Nautilus Safety Toe shoes. The 1392, 1340 and 1317. The first pair I ordered in my usual size of 11. I usually get a wide size and these were offered as extra wide so I chose that width. When I put them on my first thought was that these were just as comfortable as my New Balance Sneakers. But when I stood up my big toe was hitting the end of the shoe. The width was just right. I sent them back. I wanted to get another pair of 1392 in 11.5 but it wasn't offered in a wide width. So I ordered a pair of 1340 in a 11.5 wide (not extra wide). I tried them on and the length was OK but the width was not. So I ordered a pair of 1317 in a 11.5 extra wide. When they came in my toes were still rubbing. I started to order a pair of 12 extra wide but then changed my mind. After three attempts I figured Nautilus just wasn't going to work for me. I wanted these because they are advertised as having an "extra wide" toe cap. Still not enough room for my toes. I think they would be very comfortable if you can find a pair that fits.
