Good work.shoe. light weight. I am a delivery driver. And then non.slip sole works.great. they stay great looking. Water proof. Nice shoe for a great price.
I found the shoe to fit exactly when I tried it on, it was a little tight at heels, but not uncomfortable. Walking in the shoe I found that it felt different, you can feel a difference in your balance. The composite toe felt just as hard as a steel toe, great for jobs that are more security conscience with metal detectors and still want safety for their employees. It was a good buy for me.
the durability of the product and how cheap it is and how easy it is to acquire
I am very hard on shoes and wanted a pair of work shoes to see if these can put up with my rigorous routine. The outsole seems great, and the leather/pleather outer skin are really durable. The laces are tough and seem to be able to handle just about anything. I love the composite toe. It is really light and makes me feel secure that I won't smash my toes. The biggest problem with these shoes are the insoles. They started shredding within two weeks, and after two months now they are completely useless. I ended up buying Dr. Scholls custom orthotic insoles. Now they are comfortable enough to be standing on all day. Before my orthotic inserts, my feet would hurt when I got home. If you are going to use your own personal insole, by all means, purchase this shoe. If not, don't expect comfort to last more than a month.
Began wearing this pair of shoes (Nautilus Safety Footwear Men's N1706 Composite Toe Boot,Black) on about the first of January 2012, it is now the 23rd of February 2012, and they are SHOT. Wore out. Garbage. They run really wide; they fit like clown shoes even though they are regular width (and I even wear ASO ankle supports at work with thick wool socks!). They have very little arch. They are made from really cheap materials. the synthetic leather like material is cracking everywhere and even peeling from its backing, the laces have broke twice, and the yellow parts of the sole have separated and re-deposited themselves in various places I have worked. The shoes may be suitable for someone working an assembly line or if you stand in one place for most of the day, but if you use these for active work- be forewarned! Don't get burned by an inferior shoe.
Fits as expected toes have lots of room. If any one get these make sure U get a half size bigger.
Nice boot, I would suggest ordering them in a half size bigger than you normally wear. I always wear two pair of socks, with these I have to wear 1 and my toes still rub a bit. They might stretch in the future I've only worn them for a week. They look good, look like they were made well, not to heavy, I replaced the insole with ones from Spenco. All in all a good pair of work boots.
This is by far the most comfortable work boot I have ever purchased.
