The Composite Safety Toe Cap is 1/3 lighter than a traditional Steel-Toe Cap, won’t conduct heat or cold, and will not set off metal detectors. This style features an EVA Sockliner to keep your feet cushioned and comfortable throughout the work day. The midsole combines EVA for maximum comfort and TPU for stability. A fiberglass shank offers additional stability while maintaining the flexibility of the sole, no matter where your work takes you. The rubber outsole offers not only great durability, but also maximum flexibility for comfort throughout the day. These styles feature a one-pull lace tightening system for easy on and off. A waterproof bladder construction means your feet stay dry even in the wettest conditions (up to the gusset in the tongue). These shoes are great. I have purchased 2 different styles of this brand and both fit like they are supposed to and there is nothing wrong with the cushioning. They are stiff when new and take a day or two to break in (they are safety shoes though and I wouldn't expect less, do you really want a pair that is already "soft" when purchased?). I don't know what these other people expect from a pair of shoes.
These shoes are absolutely the worst pair of shoes you can buy. Yes they look nice, but looking nice doesn't help keep your feet from hurting. The insole that comes with them is a joke, and the heel does not give at all. There is zero padding at the toe area. These shoes killed my feet and made my legs and back ache. These reviews that give 5 stars have to be bogus. Seriously save your time and money and buy something else.
The shoes were cute, but i couldn't enjoy the comfort that i know this brand offers because it was too tight and very uncomfortable. I ordered a half size bigger that my actual shoe size and it was an (E) which should mean wide but it was extremely tight around the toe area. I had to take them off after only 30 mins.
I've never worn Nautilus shoes before. Most of the reviews I read about their sizing said they ran a little big and they did, just not quite big enough for my foot. I guess I wear a size 15 in steel toe and not a 14 because these were just a tad small in the toe box (and they were 14W). The shoes otherwise felt great and were super comfortable. I wish they had them in 15W, because I would have bought them. I hate when people put 4 stars because of their own error, but I can't really say, "I love it" since I returned them due to my error. They're definitely a 5-star shoe.

I would recommend an option of selling these shoes with some working man insoles. I mean do disrespect to nautilis because these shoes are awesome, but if safety shoes are needed, it generally means the individual is going to be on their feet all day and the insoles that came in them just weren't enough.
great shoes, i bought them for my old man and he has only had them a week and is in heaven wearing them now that he got them broke in a bit and has already stated that he needs another pair of these, one for work and one for home use.
