I broke my ankle this year and have fallen arches and back problems. I needed a sturdy shoe with excellent arch stabilizing foot support during the healing process. This shoe is it! It is super comfortable and supportive and my knees and hips felt years younger while wearing them. I loved the benefits so much I bought brown and black for versatility. I am female and don't normally buy men's anything. However nothing I could find beat these shoes! I did get 1.5 sizes down in men's and that was perfect. They are extremely durable also! The quality of the leather and craftsmanship makes them worth the money along with the major relief to my painful joints.
My job requires slacks and a dress shirt except on casual Fridays. These protective toed shoes have a dressier look and I wear them 4 days a week. They are fairly light and have a sneaker like sole. Most comfortable steel toed footwear I have ever owned. They have held up well through all of the Michigan seasons and have lasted well over a year with out any broken stitches, heal separation, major worn spots, etc. Every once in a while I clean and shine them with Armor All wipes and they look like new again. The only flaw I noticed is that the material wore out where my heal meets the back of the shoe after a while but it doesn't cause me any discomfort. I liked these so much, I just ordered a second pair.
I've been buying these Nautilus 1630 Steel Toe shoes for years. I love them. They're a little heavy if you're driving long distances with them, but otherwise, I wear them 10+ hours a day with no problem. I even go walking a mile or more at lunch most days. They're pretty comfortable, though I had to buy my own arch supports.My only real gripe with these is that they tend to have cosmetic problems right away, even when you're not hard on them. A white scuffing will appear along the front of the shoe within the first week, and it's happened on every pair I own. I could probably pre-treat the shoes to prevent that, but I don't worry as they'll eventually get scratched in the manufacturing plant I work in anyhow. I'll keep buying and recommending these shoes as long as they make them.
These shoes have hurt from the day I put them on. I've tried to wear them for a little while and they have not improved. In fact the left shoe feels like it's trying to turn my foot to the side and I've never had this issue with any other shoes. I give up, was going to return them and the fine print says they must be in like new condition. Guess I gave them to much time to prove me wrong. I've never been so happy to throw$120.00 +/- without looking the purchase up in the trash. Don't waste your money on these.
Good, solid, comfortable shoe. Easy on, easy off. Runs a little large. Substantial sole, a little clunky. Overall a great work shoe.
this shoe is awesome for work!!! light weight and comfortable. Ive owned red wings,wolverine, danners and this shoe blows them all away for a half there price. nice square toe leaves you room and they have not eatin my socks either as we know steel toe boots do.Nice to work 12 hours on concrete and not have your feet hurt the whole time.
I've worn these about two weeks now at work, and I couldn't be happier with them. They are light and comfortable, I have a lot more energy at the end of the day then I did with heavy boots I always used to swear by. I got these because my locker room is getting very crowded and I wanted work shoes I could just slip on and go. These shoes get a lot of salt brine on them so I'll have to see how they hold up to that after a couple of months, but so far fantastic purchase.
Bought March 12th 2014 and just now need to order a replacement, the leather has worn out in the heel recently but they are great everywhere else. Heal is not separating, leather still looks good. They have been the most comfortable work shoes I have ever bought and longest lasting. Just looked up my order history to see when I bought and decided to place a review. I use everyday at work and walk ALOT, comfortable, long lasting, no laces, great steel toe shoes!!!!!!!!!!!
