These fit great and very comfortable.
These fit me well on account of having wide sizes available. There are many all-manmade shoes on Amazon that are not available in wide sizes and none of those are going to fit me.The uppers on Nunn Bush Kore Elevate also offer more foot protection than the average all-manmade shoe. And I think the uppers also look better than most all-manmade shoes. So that's a win. If you want nonleather shoes for any reason I recommend them. It's hard to find decent shoes that don't use leather, that fit and wear and look OK, usually it's 2 out of 3 and it's the looks that suffer. These look OK - they are understated and don't draw attention. I think that compared to the competition, the faux leather looks closer to real leather. I think they won't stand out as being ugly, but they also won't stand out as being stylish. Can't say about whether they will wear well or poorly but I think I have reason to be optimistic about how long they'll last. The sole seems sturdy (but it has enough `give' to be comfortable). I've only had them a week and the manmade material has already taken some unplanned abuse on a mile of unpaved trails. You can tell I've used the shoes but the toe is not damaged or ugly as it would have been with Payless cheapie walking shoes (back in the day when you could go to a Payless, you could at least get cheapies). I am definitely reluctant to use them to ride a bicycle, but I guess that pedals and toe cages can ruin the appearance of leather or nonleather shoes alike so I suppose I need to keep a sacrificial pair of uglies for bicycling.I did end up with a crease near the big toe of one foot, which seems to only affect appearance. I think this can happen to me with any shoe considering the shape of my feet. I suppose it would happen less with leather, or be less noticeable anyway, compared to creases in manmade uppers. Nothing's perfect. (Certainly stiff uppers on dress shoes, leather or not, are uncomfortable and can get ugly creases after I wear them once or twice, despite having the look that some people like.)So I would say vegan guys, come and get it. Or if you're wanting a no-leather option for other reasons such as light weight, this is the one to get. But if you're super attached to leather and all of its advantages there's no point.
Fits perfectly! Sturdy construction and attractive. Good walker and an all around good multipurpose shoe, though I would use for a jogger on a regular basis since it doesn't have the cushioning for that.
Very light footwear!
