So lightweight and flexible without being flimsy. Have purchased other brands from the podiatrist approved list and these are by far the best! Great design and perfect fit for our 2yo. His foot measures just under 6” and the 7.5-8 fits comfortably. Could probably size up but there’s enough room for now.
We love pedipeds, our daughter has fairly long and narrow feet for her age and they always fit her well. They are somewhat narrow, and since these only have Velcro at the very top they probably wouldn't work for kids with particularly wide feet. These shoes in particular have held up great to the adventures of a very active toddler and repeated washings. I'd say they've been washed at least half a dozen times since we bought them and are still in excellent condition. We continue to be huge fans of pedipeds for their consistency and durability!
PERFECT SHOES, AMAZING QUALITY as always. I had cheaped out at the beginning of the school year and bought a pair of Champion sneakers for my very active kindergarten son. On sale for $29.99 and I was running behind schedule for back to school shopping so I grabbed them on a whim. The soles were the new-style hard foam ones (not the classic rubber soles), and within 5 days (I kid you not), the wear on the bottom was ridiculous. Not to mention they were constantly "shedding" little strings of foam from the soles. The rubber that comes up over the toes had already peeled away from the shoe and they looked like they were already 3 months old. So back they went to the store and I ordered these as I should have in the first place. Yes they cost twice as much, but now after 5 weeks of wear by the previously mentioned very active 5 year old, they still look NEW! My son has worn Pedipeds his entire life (they fit his fairly wide feet very well) and each pair has not only survived but thrived to be passed down to his little brother. When little brother outgrows them I then I sell them on Ebay and still get a good price for them. Quality shoes and non-toxic to boot! Can't get better than that. I hate to think that my older son will soon outgrow the brand. :(
My daughter had these same sneakers in different color and she wore them literally to death. When they got too small to wear with socks, she started wearing them without socks. They look like they're falling apart but she still can be comfortable wearing them all day long. No other type of shoe was ever as comfortable. She wore the old pair with the size extending insole for almost two years. These have a wider and comfortable toe box and are very flexible. Great to run in. They wash well in a washing machine. Their vibrant color stays for a very long time and doesn't get as dirty as most other sneakers. They also don't get stinky as other sneakers do. So yeah. Pedipeds are amazing and these are great!
The sneakers arrived and it is obvious that they were worn not just tried. Some wore these for months.
Great Shoes. Great support for children's foot. Recommend
These look nice, like the velcro with laces look. Unfortunately they are much smaller than his current shoes even though we ordered a size bigger.
This is the only shoe my kid will wear. They have had three pairs already. I was always able to get these shoes on sale for $55 or under, I am taking a star off because $65 for a pair of kids shoes seems like a little too much. On the other hand, my kid has worn these shoes every day for the last two years, so I guess I can't complain. I think what makes them comfy is the wide width, rounded toe-box, and extremely light, flexible profile that nevertheless has some arch support.
