the shoe is truly light wt. and very comfortable it appears that it will also be very durable the size is just right for me at 91/2 d the first order was for a size nine and that was small for my foot even though that is the general size i buy so i think you need to order a half size larger than you normally wear and i am sure you will like the shoe. I used the amazon return procedure and was surprised to get my replacement shoes the same day i mailed my return which was a short 2 day wait thanks amazon pleased with my purchase and with the service i received from you folks at amazon great product great people thanks.
Bought these shoes for my 91-year old father-in-law because they have the Medicare rating for diabetes. Although he does not have diabetes, as a nurse, I understand the importance of good, and comfortable, shoes. The size is exactly right and my father-in-law could wear them all day right out of the box. The two velcro straps make putting them on, and taking them off, easy for him to do without assistance. And they also allow for quick adjustment if he has any foot swelling. These were an excellent choice for my father-in-law.
I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered a 1/2 size larger. These were for my Dad who is 98 and he is very happy with them. The toe box is roomy and he can loosen the Velcro on days his feet swell. They are also easier to get on than lace up shoes. I am not sure of quality, time will tell how they hold up, but right now they checked all the boxes for comfort and ease of putting on.
I like the concept of the shoe. The thing that I don’t like about this particular shoe is the fact that when I start to put it on the tongue drops down and the shoe has to be removed to retrieve the tongue. I have great difficulty holding on to the shoe and I don’t have a spare hand to hold the tongue up so that I can insert my foot into the shoe.
The vendor provided prompt and convenient order fulfillment. The shoe is excellent. It has sufficient room in the toe area, has a moderate arch support (which I prefer) and smooth profile along the sole (no edges to catch on the brake or gas pedal or pieces of furniture when sitting). One of the best indicators of quality and attention to detail is that the length of the straps are long enough to cover the entire velcro area so none is exposed, which the hem of the slacks could otherwise catch on. I highly recommend these shoes to someone looking for something practical that can be worn at work or for casual use.

This is the only shoe I have ever found in a size wider than EE. These are 5E and I can sure feel the difference. I will be looking for other shoes in extra wide widths.
