Great shoe with excellent fit for someone with exceptionally wide feet. As with most any brand the footbed lacks support which was easily corrected with a Dr Scholl’s insole. What impressed me the most with this shoe is the overall fit and finish as well as the comfort for extended wear with proper insoles. First time out with these shoes I wore them for 16hrs without blisters or issues. Of all the brands I have previously tried that claimed to be “wide” width were not, these actually are.
The shoe is true to size when it comes to going off the Euro sizes. That's how I order shoes online! It looks professional and I've gotten compliments on them. But they don't last long. My bf loves them and gets a new pair every 2-3 months being a unit manager at waffle house. The soles give and separate and his feet start to get wet with the regular mopping they do. Mine separated from the sole as well with all the bending down/kneeling and reaching up I did at my job. (Assistant grocery manager) I was there for 3 months and the last month I wasn't planning on being there much longer so I didn't reorder a pair because I don't need slip resistant shoes. They're not suitable for high arch people and buying an insert. I would recommend the half size up because the shoe lace section dug into the top of my foot and bruised me for a month until they finally stretched out! Great shoe overall, just not built for longevity. But what shoe is anymore?
These shoes are phenomenal! They are non-slip, water resistant shoes, that just looks good! I work in the food industry as a General Manager, I’m on my feet 60 hours a week, and step in all sorts of stuff, from grease to food, and I’m always getting wet with the dish washing sink. I only gave these shoes 4 stars for one prior reason, the insoles are very uncomfortable, the shoes fit great, but you will definitely want to order a pair of insoles. With being on my feet constantly, something that is comfortable is a must. I highly recommend these shoes if you are looking for good quality at not such a high price. Sometimes prices doesn’t matter, and they shoes are a great example! Thank you!

Great Shoes! This is my second pair. The first is cordovan and looks / wears really well. Holds a shine and are waterproof! I use them for both business and casual. These black shoes are a clone. Comfortable, easy to care for and waterproof! I get complements from a wide variety of folks that like both the style and the shine. I have wide feet and these 12 E's fit to a "T". The soles and heels are perfect for the snowy and wet weather here in the northeast and are replaceable. I had a pair of Chaps that SQUEAKED. Tried everything .. they still SQUEAKED. They would wake people up at the airport! Someone from a thrift shop is now wearing squeaky shoes. I'm wearing the real thing! Enjoy your Rockports!
I've been a devout Rockport customer for over twenty years, but something has changed. The manufacturing quality is now virtually worthless. The replacement of pleather instead of leather means they fall apart at the seams. Glued rather than stitched to the sole, they start to "talk". Whereas my Rockports used to last years, they now last barely a season. What happened?This particular shoe, the exact same model I ordered before, was uncomfortable, even with added sole supports. As stated, it fell apart in months. My second disappointing Rockport purchase in the last year. I would hesitate to buy them again.
