My feet often hurt from the shoes that I wear. These are wide so that my feet are not scrunched up. Yet they don’t look fat. They look very slim and sleek. I wore them for an entire 11 hour day with a suit and they not only looked good all day, but my feet felt good. They are great shoes.
I bought these shoes for our son for his birthday. He wears them for work. He says they are so comfortable. I think they are slightly lighter in color than in the picture. These shoes are really attractive. Highly recommend.
I also bought the black version and they arrived in 2 days. This brown pair took much longer and I think it was because they were waiting to be shipped from a return. They had obviously been tried on because they had small hairs and lint inside as well as some tiny scratches and scuffs. Nothing was overly gross or too scratched. I’m keeping them because this brown gradient seems to be harder to find. Comfortable shoes. Decent price. I get compliments on the brown pair versus the black pair. I’m hard on the soles so I hope these last awhile.

Believe the reviews you read. These shoes are absolutely fabulous. They are incredibly comfortable and light. And, as my wife can attest, my feet don't seem to smell as bad after a whole day wearing them at work. As soon as I put them on I said, "Oh. Oh wow. These are nice." Initially I was unsure if I should get a 9 or 9.5. I usually wear a 9.5 in athletic shoes and 9 in dress shoes. I went with the 9.5 and I am glad I did. They fit and feel more like my athletic shoes.One of the first things I noticed after walking in them for a few minutes was how light they felt. So I went to my office at home and put them on the scale. My old shoes measured at 397 grams each. The new Rockports came in at a svelte 270 grams each. After walking in them the last few days, I can can attest that the reduced weight is noticeable.I can't speak to how they hold up after a long period of time, but I will try to give an update six months to a year from now. However, if you are in the market for a classically stylish and comfortable dress shoe to wear to work everyday, you should definitely consider purchasing this shoe. Very happy with my purchase.Update (May 29, 2019): It has been more than two years since I purchased these shoes and they are holding up very well. They have a few scuffs in the toe area but that's to be expected after near daily use for 2+ years. I will definitely buy these shoes again.
I purchased these shoes before going on a conference in Las Vegas. Never wore them before just put them on and went to the airport. The shoe requires no break in time, and I was able to walk for hours without my feet hurting. The shoes look good in blue jean and in casual slack.
