This is my second pair. I wore the first pair for almost 2.5 years M-F to work. I walk with a cane and have ankles that need support. These are high enough up the ankle to provide the support along with custom orthotics. I do wear Dickies Boot socks - dress socks are too thin. My employer wants us to wear dress shoes and these qualify. These are great when our parking garage floods when it rains ,sometimes the puddles are two to three inches high.- I don't hesitate walking through and my feet remain dry. When these need replacing - mostly due to uneven sole wear, I will buy a third pair. Note: my mailman told me about these - he has been wearing them for years.
As a Letter Carrier with the USPS who walks 10 miles each day on the delivery route, these have been my go to shoes for the past 10 years or more. I've tried several brands and styles and the Rocky 5019 has been the most comfortable shoe I've found in this price range.
I wear a 13 wide. These boots are very tight on the top of the foot. They fit like a narrow boot.
I work for USPS and this boot is designed to fit our needs. This is my 2nd pair, the 1st pair I bought a year ago & have been great & I bought them through rocky directly. The 2nd pair I bought amazon & within 2 days of having this pair the sole of the boot where the leather meets the rubber separated & the rubber fell apart. Not happy with the 2nd pair at all, but thankful that rocky has a 1year guarantee & amazon is sending me another pair. Hopefully that pair was a bad batch & hoping the next pair will keep me happy with the rocky brand.

I bought these shoes for my husband and he loves them. We have purchased postal shoes for the past 2 years and just now tried the boots. He adores them! We will purchase these boots from now on!
Purchased these to replace a pair of Reebok boots that were worn down. These boots fit nice; only drawback is the top portion of the boot does not fit tight around my average ankle/bottom calf so leaves and debris fall inside. Waterproofing is holding up nice as my feet haven't gotten wet yet.
I am a twenty five year letter carrier, and have tried them all.These are the best fitting, most comfortable shoes out of the box, I have found.They have average wear life, just like the others.
