They fit perfect. Very stylish. Very retro. Love the way they go with everything.
My feet have gotten wider with age, my shoes have to bend in the right spot for me or they aggravate an old injury at the base of my big toe, and built-in arch supports make my feet ache. Needless to say, it's hard for me to find shoes! I've been able to slowly break-in these handsome saddle shoes that are made of old-fashioned, quality materials that keep their shape and look new forever. Because of the black/white color they are appropriate for winter and summer and they complement both everyday jeans and tailored wool slacks. They are eye-catching and receive many compliments! Would be really cute for moms and daughters to wear together!
I am in love with saddle oxfords for my son. These are very nice shoes. They're very light weight and not large and bulky, which I like being that he wears them with dress clothes. So I give them 5 stars. That being said, these shoes definitely run small. My son wears a size 5 and after reading reviews I ordered a size 6. They were also too small. So I then of course had to reorder. So just be aware.
Too narrow, even though they are supposed to be wide fit. I have bought other School Issue shoes and they were comfortable, wide, and the leather really supple. This leather doesn't feel the same. Hopefully, they are real leather and are able to stretch, as that's what I'm going to try to do. Good thing I didn't pay full price!
These are not Keds. They have the solid brown sole. My daughter always receives compliments when she wears them. She says they’re comfortable.
My daughter needed these for school and I was having trouble finding them in the city. I saw these online and after reading some of the reviews, I ordered these because they were guaranteed to be delivered the day before school. When they arrived, I immediately tried them on her, but it was quite narrow and hard for her to put on. Once they were on her feet, I had her walk around to see how they fit. I noticed she was uncomfortable. I just thought they needed to be broken in. As soon as we arrived at school, she was limping and complained that her feet were hurting. I told her I was going to find her another pair from somewhere else. After having no luck, when she arrived home, I had her take them off which she was already doing anyway. She had a little scrape on her heels. I pulled the flap up and noticed there was a really thick piece of cushion in the shoe. I removed it from the shoe and replaced the flap. I noticed a big difference right away. She said they were comfy and she wears them now with no complaints. I thought I was doing something going a half size up, but they really runs small. My only complaint now is that they scratch so easily. The paint comes off so easily. They have since turned yellow. I have to find her another pair because these looks horrible. My nieces shoes from Payless has held up better.
Nice dress shoes for little boys, I have only two things I would complain about: 1) they run very big. He has Ralph Lauren shoes in the same size that are about half an inch shorter, so he will have to grow into them. 2) While padded nicely in the heel area, the material is very hard. I hope it gts softer when he's wearing it.
These are so cute!! Just what I wanted. Like my mom wore when she was a teen. I thought they’d be uncomfortable because they are really stiff. I wore them all day and they were very comfortable!!
