These boots are lightweight and they will last for two years. Also very comfortable.
I bought these for my son. It was his first steel toed boot. He says there are very comfortable and he likes them. They run true to size. They look pretty good. He works for a mechanic and he just started using them so we don't yet know how they will hold up, but for now he's happy,
I was constantly switching work boots after Sears closed and I couldn't find a replacement for the Craftsman boots I used to buy from them. Then after about a year I finally found these Sketchers boots and they fit perfectly and performed just as well as my old Craftsman boots did. They hold up well under all sorts of various work situations and the steel toe has saved me from serious injury several times, which makes them even more valuable to me!
I took a chance on these boots without trying them on 1st because of the great price at $37.79. They are excellent boots so far after 1 month of use. I made sure to look at the manufacturer sizing chart witch I found on there website. The best way to make sure they will fit is to get the actual sizes of there boots, then grab a ruler or measuring tape and measure your foot to compare to there actual sizes since every manufacturer is different. In my case, my foot was 10 and 1/3 inches long and 4.5 inches wide. Going on there sizes I ordered a 10.5/2E wide. They fit perfectly, and are extremely comfortable only after a couple days of breaking in. They are more comfortable than the red wings I used to get cause the company I worked at gave me a yearly $100 allowance to red wing. I Just don't know if the durability is as good as yet. After 1 month I can assure you there better than any Walmart kickers but only time will tell if they hold up like red wings. After a month I'm thinking I'll easily be able to get a full year if not more out of them with my daily work schedule. I usually drive 6 hours and work in a warehouse 2 hours a day 5-6 days a week. At $37.79 if I only get 6 months out of them it's still half what I use to pay with a $100 yearly boot allowance to red wing. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality boot, at a great price. Just make sure you buy the correct size. Don't listen to the bad reviews because I'd bet most just bought the wrong size. I am 6ft/1in 275lbs and know a good boot. Knock on wood my back pain has almost disappeared since I've been wearing these boots. Hopefully its actually the boots and not just me going through a good month like anyone with back issues knows about. For the price you can't not take a chance on them.
They look great feel comfortable not the greatest at keeping feet warm the steel toe is a plus have no complaints there and for the most part I think water resistant but have not really tested that part my self yet
I'll be as fair as I can for this. I've only had these for a week now, so I haven't fully broken them in yet. That being said, I personally feel that these are boots you would really only buy if your work requires you to have Steel Toe shoes. They are relatively comfy, but sometimes the rim of the boot will scrape your ankle if you aren't wearing anything higher that crew cut socks. My biggest complaint is that it is not exactly slip resistant, more so slip attracted. Any body of liquid the size of a puddle can cause you to lose footing super easily.By the time I caught the downfalls of the boots, Catepillar came out with a better boot for just 15 dollars more. But like I said, these boots aren't terrible, and they work as a low cost substitute for steel toe boots if your job requires them like mine does, even if you wont be in a constant work environment that needs them.
Bought for my husband. He is a welder. They are very comfortable. They look good and don’t even feel like steel toed boots. They’re easy to clean. They are not heavy feeling they don’t even look like steel toes. This is not the first pair of steel toes I have bought from sketchers I was in love with my pair too, this is one of the best steel toes I think you can buy. They are so comfy and you can wear them all day your feet will thank you.
My husband hasn’t wearing these shoes for years and gets one pair of year and turns out they are the best thing for him, waterproof steel toe and very durable ‼️
