This will be the third pair of Sketchers acquired. The first pair given as a gift. Just had to order this particular Sketcher, mainly due its slick design and appearance. Will order again and again! Yes…would definitely recommend the Sketchers. Always a good fit!

Was looking for another pair of sketchers similar to ones I have had and really liked but might be discontinued and found these as a similar replacement. Overall they’re pretty nice, the material is fine, insole comfort is standard (I don’t think these have the gel insoles like some of their other lines). Only negative is that the outer sole is very light and plastic-y feeling and initially seemed very smooth/slick. After walking a bit in them the bottoms gets scuffed enough to add grip, but I don’t know how they will be in snow/ice/wet conditions with such a hard smooth sole. On the plus side they are pretty light and fit is very comfortable.

It's been just over one year from the purchase and I have to say, at first, for the first 6-8 months I really liked these shoes except for the grip on wet surfaces. The soles have wore excessively IMO in one year and had become increasingly worse on wet surfaces as it went on, to the point I would not wear them in wet weather. Good looking and very comfortable but the quality and longevity just aren't there, again, IMO. Hope this helps.
