The shoes fit good and look to be well made. just what i expected from sketchers . Could use a little more cushion in them for my liking. I just added a wedge insert to fix that. They are water proof as stated. I have wore these shoes several days for about 12 hours a day and will be buying more.
This is my fifth pair of Skechers over many years. I still have two pairs I use for sloppy home improvement projects since they still have plenty of tread and are still supportive. I can trust when I order these I'm getting the exact size consistent with all my previous pairs.
It is not the fault of the product but the boot hurts my ankle at the top of the boot b/c I had surgery there and have titanium screws in my ankle. The boot presses against the screws and causes discomfort. Not the fault of the product but I need to find something to cushion that area.
Loved that the shoes are nice and wide for my hobbit feet.
I thought this was going to be more of a work boot, it is not. Very thin leather and the lack of a tongue, which dug into the top of your foot, caused me to return these. I only wore them for a couple of minutes in my home and they weren't a bad shoe, just not a work boot. I thought about keeping them and wearing them for something other than work, but I have other shoes for that.
I bought these because the product info said the sole was made for good traction. That is not the case! These shoes fit great and are comfy to walk around in, but heaven forbid you hit water, oil, or a smooth surface unaware... you will be on your face before you realize what is happening. These would be good for walking around outside, just not indoors on wet floors.
My husband was very pleased with these as he takes a EEE shoe that is not always easy to find in a boot.
