More sturdy than a tennis shoe and extremely comfortable. This is my 2nd pair. The relaxed fit size is perfect if you need a little more room in the toe box but don't require a wide EE fit. I will definitely keep getting this shoe.
Hard to keep shoes tied other than that their good shoes,I double not it
I really like these shoes. They are sturdy, warm, waterproof, and stylish. I use them as daily shoe but originally had bought them strictly for hiking. They trap the heat in the winter so they are like wearing a boot but warmer because the hot air from your feet stays in, while the cold and wet stay out. In summer, it would probably be good to have a regular, breathable shoe for non rainy days. Overall, super impressed, and will buy again.
Skechers is a terrible company that does not stand behind their products. After less than 3-months of occasional wear, the inside of both heels have worn very poorly - the fabric has worn/ripped as did what little padding that was in the heel. (In case you are wondering, so as not to bend or damage the collar of the heel, I have always used a show horn to slip into these sneakers.)I contacted their customer service department and, at first wanted a series of photographs showing the top, bottom, sides, front, and back of the sneakers - along with photos of the "defect." In addition, all of the following information:- Full name, address, phone number and email.- Style number (Inside the shoe on the shoe tag, reads "SNXXXXX")- Factory date (numbers corresponding to the letters "F M D Y" - found on the inside shoe tag)- Describe the issue you are experiencing with the product.- Where did you purchase the shoes?- Do you have the receipt showing the date of purchase? If not, please provide the estimated date of purchase (Products purchased within the past 2 years can be returned for inspection).Done!I heard back the next day and, based on all the information provided, they would ALLOW me return the sneakers to their warehouse - AT MY EXPENSE, and then have me wait up to 4 weeks to find out if they think the problem was a defect. If so, they would either return the old sneakers or send a replacement. What were all the photos for? Give the customer a two-year guarantee, then make it so difficult to make a claim on that guarantee they'll go away.Do they want me to wear my slippers or dress shoes when I go out for a walk?$20 so my sneakers can vacation in California for a month!I plan to write Skechers and give them a number of suggestions as to where they might want to stick their guarantee. And they should be ever grateful I'm not returning the sneakers (at my own cost!) because they would have arrived more than a little "dirty" from my walking in every neighbor's yard with a dog!
Sturdy shoe that does have a bit of weight to it. Initially a stiff fit that did cause a blister. However, they have loosened up and fit much more comfortably
My husband is very pleased with the look and feel of these shoes. They arrived in a timely manner and are holding up very well.
I wore these shoes everyday for over a year, & they only now are worn out. Laces never wore out, which is usually a problem.Fairly comfortable. My foot did not roll as it does in most shoes.Kept my feet dry, but my feet sweat a lot in them.Tread remained for a long time.
I purchased these for 3 reasons. It was a tennis shoe. It was waterproof. And it was lace up. This is a well built and very comfortable shoe to wear! Perfect for my mountain bike riding and the occasional wet days when I wore them for work. Comfortable to be on my feet all day when worn for work, equally comfortable on the mountain bike trails. But why the star rating? Simply because of Amazon's lack of response. 7 months after having the shoe I noticed the sole on one shoe beginning to detach from the front part of the shoe down to below the ball of my foot. I get it...I'd had them 7 months. I emailed Amazon questioning what to do, if anything, and I also read on some help pages that the item was not eligible for return. I get that too. What I didn't understand is not even getting a reply back from Amazon. Crickets.Fast forward to 3 weeks ago when I emailed Skechers, simply to ask what would be the best adhesive to use to glue the sole back on. Since it was their shoe, I thought they'd know best. They emailed back that day saying it was a concern, ignored my initial question, and asked for me to send pictures and other information. So, I did that. Heard back quickly again, and asked if I would mail them the shoes to have a look. I did that. They emailed the day they received them and told me I was eligible for a new pair of shoes! The new shoes - waterproof and lace ups - should arrive this week! Skechers is great. And would definitely buy skechers again.
