I needed a pair of dress shoes for a formal dinner. I've had great luck in the past with Stacy Adams' shoes so I decided to give these a try as they looked dressy and I couldn't pass up the price. I just received them today and I am very pleased with them. They are more shiny than the pictures let's you believe (more like a tuxedo shoe in my opinion), but definitely appropriate for the event that I will be attending. I think these are great looking shoes with nice detail for the price. I put them on this evening because I figured I would need time to let them stretch so I won't get blisters. I noticed that they are a bit slippery on carpet and hard wood, but I think this is they way they are supposed to be. I am definately not complaining. As always I will be returning to the Stacy Adams brand again as they have never let me down.

As others have pointed out, these are not patent leather. They are patent PVC, which is much less breathable and less comfortable.
These shoes look great but there is no padding or insole at all and if you put an aftermarket insole in them, you'll find that they fit tight because the shoe is narrow to begin with. I tend to stand a lot so an insole is a must, especially at work. Think about buying a half size bigger than you normally would or bite the bullet and buy a $300 pair of dress shoes that are comfortable right out of the box.
The quality appears good and aside from a tight fit they were fine. They arrived timely and looked great.
Very comfortable and stylish. Arrived quickly and the price was wonderful. My son lives in Stacy Adams shoes. At auditions he often gets "nice shoes" as one of his comments.
I like the product but the size was smaller than other StacyAdams I had purchased. Customer service would not allow me to exchange for a larger size unless I paid more.
