My favorite summer work boots. Comfortable awesome
Great boots!! These boots are exceptionally comfortable.. They took about a day to break-in and get used to, but other than a little stumbling around for a day, they fit like a dream.
The leather of these boots came very soft right out of the box and required zero break-in. The back of my heels did require some break-in simply because I have not worn boots every day for a few months. That has nothing to do with the boot. The sole is very, very soft and extremely comfortable. The boot looks great in person and just like the picture. The fit is great and I used the computerized sizing that was available on the Amazon page. I'm glad I did because I was going to order a .5 size bigger and they would have been too large. The size the product page told me to order is dead on. These boots don't have an overly pronounced arch support but definitely aren't flat footed either. I recommend these boots to anyone that needs casual boots, work boots, or any person that is on their feet for long periods. They are excellent.
The's my secund per, first work good, the second very disappointment, squeak all the time.
3rd pair of these, at least, over the past 5 yrs. or so. A real quality boot. They don't last quite as long as some boots I've had, but they are the most comfortable.
fit is good , i expected this a bright color, but i think not at all
stitching around the moc-toe started to fray just after a month's wear (casual wear),thread used was inferior.otherwise great and comfortable boot,overall disappointed with Timberland.
These boots fit well and were very comfortable right out of the box. Slightly loose but acceptable for my needs. And for the price you wont find anything this good. I am a finish carpenter and have been unhappy with the break in process for the big name expensive leather boots. Dont get me wrong i still have a couple pair of chippewa that i abuse and they last forever but you cant beat the comfort of these barstows. The quality is better than I expected and i love the wedge sole. No more tracking mud and dirt into homes, a quick wipe on the mat and you are good to go. How long will they last? I'll have to getback to you on that but they look great for now and i will be buying another pair for around town
