In terms of support and comfort, these have been excellent boots overall. I walk quite a few miles on a daily basis in them and have never experienced blisters, soreness, or discomfort. Flexibility was excellent once they were broken in and they are comfortable enough for everyday wear outside of work. My size 10.5 pair fits as expected, snugly enough to prevent unwanted movement, but not so snugly that putting them on or removing them with a full cushion boot sock is difficult.I'm less impressed with the durability. Externally, I have no complaints. They've held up as well as boots that cost more in that regard. The recycled synthetic/plastic derived interior material is every bit terrible it has always been and started to look rough in friction spots within a few weeks. Months later it has of course worn away almost completely in those spots. This admittedly has not impacted comfort and function much if at all, but is disappointing and almost certainly will have an impact as they age.All things considered, I really can't give them less than five stars. Most other options at this price point would have the same issue, and they are on track to last about two years, which is acceptable for the price point and conditions they're being used in.
I left a question to see if anyone knew whether or not the boots were Electrical Hazard rated. I was told they are not, but I found the tag on the inside of the boots that clearly states they are ASTM F2413-18 rated. I don't know what M/I/C stands for, but EH means electrical hazard rated. The boots are of good quality, what you would expect from Timberland Pro. They fit comfortably enough right off the bat, I will update the review once they are broken in. I am glad they had my size. US Men 15 Wide is hard to find sometimes and these fit true to size. They fit closely around the ankle and lower calph and seem to be insulated well. The packaging says they are also waterproof for anyone wondering. I love the bit of soft leather around the mouth of the boots as it prevents the mouth of the boots from chafing your lower calves. They lace all the way up the boot shaft and the boot strings are decent quality. The tongue of the boot is comfortable and doesn't cause any pain or discomfort on the shins when lacing the boots up tightly.Overall a very solid design with extra safety features not mentioned on the store page.I strongly recommend these and will update my review after breaking them in. I feel confident in leaving it as a 5 star review as I have bought other Timberland Pro boots in the past and I have not been disappointed.Update: Keeping it at 5 stars. They broke in very well and are very comfortable while still remaining rugged. They're made to last.
Perfect very sturdy strong and warm
It was a bit late on the delivery, a few day later than my other delivery i ordered the same time.It arrived in good condition. The product itself looked good, it feels good when you wear it, the style fits my aesthetic, which is the part of the reason i want to buy a good looking safety shoe while looking not too bad. In this case, it looked very good. This is my first timberland product, so i dont know what to expect from them, but i have heard both good and bad stories from them. It is better than what I imagined.I think because I’m short, the boots are a little too tall for me, of course, you can interpret this as a good thing or a bad thing. The taller the boot, the more protection it provided to the calves. Also, since I’m most likely wearing jeans, the lower part of jean keeps rubbing against me skin and the boot, which does take a day to figure out a better way to arrange my jeans. After that, its the best safety shoes I’ve ever worn. Probably because the company safety shoes are usually of low qualityAfter some the jean adjustment, it didnt feel any discomfort, the boot upper rim (not sure if thats what it’s called) is soft and quite pleasant to the touch. The sole parts are also great. It can get really heavy rain in where i work, but i haven’t tried it against the weather so I’m not sure the waterproofing function. Cant say that for sure. The price is actually more affordable than the other normal timberslands I’ve seen around my area. So a definite good purchase for me.Edit:- This is first time since it last rained this heavily, so I can write a review about the water-proofing. I dont feel any water seeped through the seams, which is a win for me. Like the driest place on my body is both my feet. I just hope this condition can last for a long time. Given that this is a steel toe safety shoe, I have high expectation for it, may be at least 3 years?
