Our Timberland PRO Powertrain Sport athletic work shoes offer lightweight performance, but they're all business when it comes to protection. Not only are they tough enough to handle working on your feet all day, they feature alloy safety toes, Anti-Fatigue Technology for all-day shock absorption and energy return, and they are designed for Electro Static Dissipating (ESD) compliance to minimize hazards from static electricity buildup. Their breathable, moisture-wicking linings are made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic. Plus, their outsoles are made of heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking polyurethane for enhanced traction and comfort. These are great. I work on a concrete factory floor for 10 plus hours a day. Super comfortable. The alloy toe is a little stiff at first but you get used to it rather quick. They are light weight, not heavy at all. ESD protection is great, pass the tester right away. They look great too! Well worth the money.
Great boot. Great price. Feels like a sneaker. I'm on my feet standing on steel nearly 16 hours a day. Climbing ladders standing on grating and I've torn up several boots three times the price. Best value on Amazon for hard working feet. Protect your dogs. You can't go wrong with these. Plus they look awesome.
Very comfortable shoe. I can run with these on and not feel like it's a big clunky boot. Only downside is the soles only seem to last about 3-4 months in my situation before splitting open at the bottom allowing my feet to get wet in poor weather. I work in restaurant food delivery and according to my step counter I walk/run about 7 miles a day in these and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day.
This work boot is absolutely amazing! It's very comfortable, light weight, and they look good too. I also like that they are slip resistant because my warehouse develops puddles of water in it as well as liquid spills from time to time so to not have to worry about a slipping hazard is a huge plus for me.
No one can talk crap about these shoes. I work for a construction company, these shoes are amazing. My feet feel alive and less abused with standing ,walking and so forth. My back is less tight and i hardly strain to get through the day. They fell cushiony and are light. Will buy them again.
Why, oh why don't work shoe companies make a breathable work shoe?!?! Was hoping that they'd be like my nike free with its "mesh lining" but not so much. I mean, they're more breathable than a plastic bag, I guess? More so than a rain boot. But I like to go sockless in the summer working in the warehouse, and I must resort to going laceless like RUN DMC to get any kind of circulation going in there.Another negative is that I cannot get the insoles to stay in place. No matter how tight or loose I kept the laces, the insole would end up sliding up on the side of the shoe after a few minutes of walking. Had to resort to glue.Other than that, they're light and decently comfortable and really bright. But boy, would it kill a company to attach the insoles and drill a few breathing holes in there next time?(PS: Anyone ever wear a REAL breathable steel toe they could recommend?)
The ESD testing came out good on these shoes, but after two weeks of wearing them everyday they remained very uncomfortable. I’m disappointed to say the least, especially since I’ve had other timberland shoes that I found very comfortable to work in.
Shoes are nice and light. The insoles that shoes came with are a little on the thin side. Overall I like them so far. Have been wearing them for about 2 months now, so i can not attest to durability. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
