Great price and fit my grandson perfectly.
I can wear it all day long. The memory insole is excellent.
I expected these Van Heusen Loreno loafers to be good and they are. The leather and stitching look great and the memory foam sole is very comfortable. I probably wouldn't want to walk for miles in these shoes, that's what my lace-up walking shoes are for. For office wear or dress functions these are perfect.I usually wear a size 10, and these initially felt slightly large on my feet. After wearing them a short while, however, they feel very good. A full size smaller would definitely be too small. Having worn them for an extended period, I don't think I would not want anything smaller then size 10.These shoes are easy for me to slip on. I have noticed many dress shoes are difficult for me to step into, as my heal catches on the back of the shoe. I am happy that I don't have that problem with this pair.I haven't worn these long enough to determine how well they standup, but they seem well made and being Van Heusen, I expect to get long service from them.Overall, I consider these appropriate for a dressy casual setting. I wouldn't wear them to an overly formal event, but they will serve me well for a business casual affair, a church setting or an informal party. For the price, I doubt you will find a better pair of casual dress shoes.
These are a bit larger than expected as per the size chart but wearing them with thicker socks – i.e., thick white or black sport socks - solved the issue for me. I have been wearing size 9 or size 9.5 shoes for many years, the slight size difference depends on the brand and/or type of shoe which is why I like to buy shoes in a brick-and-mortar store to check the fit before I buy. Sizes 9 or 9.5 have been the way to go for me. I ordered these shoes in size 9 and they are cut large. I probably could have used an 8.5. On the upside they make my feet look bigger. The shoes are attractive and well made. [My wife calls them my Gronk style shoes. Don't worry if you don't know what she's referring to.] I've been wearing them every day for about 2 weeks. They are comfortable and supportive for my feet as long as I wear those thicker socks. These shoes are comfortable and a good value. Be aware, they might be sized a half size larger than the size chart indicates. Confirm that they can be returned if the shoe does not fit. But if the shoe fits…
It's always a little weird to see a pair of shoes with a brand usually reserved for clothing. Over the years I've owned shoes from Kenneth Cole, Ralph Lauren, Levi's, etc. Regardless of the individual brand's prestige or price point, these shoes tend to be inexpensive and have a very basic design. These Van Heusen Oxfords fit that mold perfectly. They're the type of shoes that are sold off a rack, without a box.But for a cheap dress shoe it's hard to ask for more. The Cognac color is very attractive. The insole is comfortable with pretty thick memory foam and reasonable arch support. The outsole is thick and not-as-slippery as most cheap dress shoes. There's not much padding around the heel, and the design is as simple as it comes, but these are a great deal for the price. If your goal is to look nice without spending a lot of money these will do the job.Fit seems to be just right. Like most slipons they've got a little bit of extra room and don't quite fit as snug, but the length is spot on with my other comparably sized shoes.
These are nice-looking casual shoes. They are dressy enough for me to wear to work most days, but I wouldn’t wear them with my suit. They remind me of deck shoes, but they are not canvas and are a bit more dressy. The description states they are synthetic leather, and they don’t look or feel like real leather. In my experience, synthetic shoes don’t generally last as long as real leather and I would not expect these to last too long either. However, they also do not carry the hefty price tag of real leather so that is a consideration.I like these shoes, but they are just slightly narrow for my feet but still fit well enough to wear. My guess is that they will stretch a bit as I wear them. The insoles are memory foam and I find them comfortable. They are removable and can be replaced if necessary. The shoes are much as I expected when I ordered them but slightly more casual than I thought. They appear to be appropriately priced.
