I got these shoes in a size 6.5 in mens (I'm an 8 in womens) and they fit wonderfully. I have noticed, though, that Vans generally tend to run a little larger than say, Nike. Additionally, they're naturally a bit of a wider shoe.The color is super vibrant, and it doesn't fade easily. Mine have lasted about a year and a half of daily use. The white bottoms do get quite dirty but you can easily clean them with some detergent and a toothbrush. The laces are super easy to clean too- I just throw them in the washer.They don't have much arch support, but they're supposed to be skate shoes, which means they're built to be flat. They're pretty comfortable on their own, but after a full day of walking around, like if you have a retail job, your feet will get a little sore because they don't offer much support. However, I've found that if you put some foot inserts for arch support, they're a great everyday shoe.You won't be disappointed with these shoes! I get compliments all of the time and they're some of my favorite shoes!

Vans. 'Nuff said. But just in case you need some clarification. They are a classic and durable skateboard (or regular fashion statement) shoe. As soon as they were delivered, I strapped on the laces, grabbed my skateboard, and shredded it up at my local skatepark for 2 hours straight! Not a "griptape scuff" in sight! Just a little dirt from the asphalt, but that came right off with a Clorox Wipe.My Vans came in Red. The Red really pops, and is bright and well contrasted against the white soles/laces. Beautiful. I got lots of compliments! I also ordered my regular shoe size, which is a Men's 7. Boom! Fit perfectly. No breaking in period required. Just strap on and go! 5 Stars baby! Now...what are you waiting for? Order them right now! :D
These shoes are amazing, I am not much of a skater but I just love the way they look. These are my first pair of Vans, and now I see what all the hype is about. I bought the gumsoles, and they look great. I wore them on a recent trip to Nigeria, and got a lot of compliments from friends and strangers. They are stylish, durable and easy to clean. They look good with jeans and shorts, long socks and short socks. They seem stiff and uncomfortable at first but after wearing them and walking around with them (breaking them in) they become your new best friend. I have long and sort of skinny feet and there was no problem at all. i can tell that if my feet were to stop growing length wise and just get wider that I could just loosen up the laces and there will be no problem. All I had to do was throw it in the wash. However, this made the black fade a bit after washing, so I do not recommend the washing machine for everyone.My problems with the shoes are-Its lack of arch support or cushioning: I had to walk around a lot on my trip, and I could feel the rocks underfoot as I walked over them. I don't have that problem as much in the US, as the roads are relatively rock-free.-Fading canvas: I know black material easily fades in the sun, and these shoes are no exception. They are still mostly black, but not the deep hue as it was when I bought it.-Creases around toe area: This is related to the fading, as I find that the part of the shoes above the mid sole, where the shoe flexes in a walk cycle has some white crease lines on the left leg.Bottom line: These shoes are perfect for my lifestyle and that they may not have the same results with everyone. But they're perfect if you're trying to look good, that's for sure.

I love Vans shoes and got 2 pairs of these. The fit is good, feels comfy to wear all day and really looks good. No issues with these sneakers. They are made of canvas tops and rubber roles.....reminds me of retro sneakers I wore as a kid in the early 1970's when they were called deck sneakers.
