I got the black ones in a size 8 and they fit true to size. The sole is like a foam rubber but it’s very good quality and they don’t feel like they will rip apart like cheaper versions. The straps do not rub, they have a soft leathery feel to them.
They broke after wearing them only a handful of times. The side piece separated from the base shoe. I had higher hopes for these.

Had my previous Volcom Flops for several years and LOVED them! Wore them everywhere. Was so bummed when they (finally) broke. Ordered these and they are EXACTLY what I expected. No blisters, very comfortable and durable. Got the spotted tan ones as a second pair.
As others have stated, these shoes did not last that long. They’re super cute and a bit dressy tho, and I wore them as my “nice” flips for a few months. Then I took them to the beach and within a day the toe strap pulled out and I took a fall. I did really like them, so ordered another pair for nice DRY wear only, but they can’t be my go-to flips anymore.
