The cushioning pad in the heel acts as a spring to restore some of the energy of the gait. The foot is firmly held thanks to the form fitted at the ankle level. The insole is made of absorbent foam on a rubber base lined in Softex. The polyester interior of the boot dries quickly. Mostly natural rubber boot handmade in France by our rubber specialists.

Best walking rubber boots ever for the woods, brushes marsh land...My last pair lasted me 20years
These are truly fantastic boots. I have had mine for several years and use them when doing yard work during the wet months, or for trudging through the slush during the spring thaw. I'll occasionally wear them on warmer winter days when there is still snow on the ground. They are very comfortable. One thing to keep in mind is that they run VERY large. I had to size down one-and-a-half sizes from my normal boots and they still fit a little loose unless I use very thick socks.
