I wanted to wait to write a review after putting these boots to the test. I have been working outdoors at a nursery and also landscaping on steep slopes, in clay and rain and rocks etc...so far they are holding up well! They are so comfortable and great for women who have larger or wider feet! I also get tons of compliments on how cute they are! I will definitely being buying more.
These rain boots are so cute! I wear a 6 1/2 and bought a 7. I tried these with an average sock, and wore them around the house for a while. The length and width were fine. There was good arch support, which seems unusual for a rain boot. I also appreciated that the toe box was roomy.After wearing these awhile, I found that they bound at the ankle. This style of BOGS were also the heaviest of several styles I tried, and the materials off-gassed which is something I am sensitive to (although I know this would dissipate over time.)I tried several different rain boot styles from different manufacturers, including BOGS, Hunter, and Xtratuf. In general the BOGS had the best arch support and the widest toe boxes overall. I ended up liking BOGS best overall, and I kept a different BOGS style after sizing up.
These are perfect for rainy days, or walking in mud and wet sand. They are padded inside so that they do not bite into your legs. Love them! I did go up a half size as suggested.
Water resistant , fits and looks good.
