I'm normally an 8 in 90% of shoes and I purchased the 8-9, the boots definitely feel like a 9 in my opinion. Easy way around this is to wear slacks of either light material or that are well fitted to your figure.I don't know what people have against these boots who reviewed.People complain that it is imitation leather:It is; it's plastic. They never claimed to be made of real leather. Real leather boots are much more expensive in comparison.People complain the buttons come off easily and/or on first use:I find this hard to believe that they come off EASILY. The first time I attempted to put these boots on I tripped pretty hard and the nature of the fall would make someone believe that if the buttons did come off easily, then at least one would have; none of mine came out. I proceeded to wear them on two occasions (both a full day in length) and no buttons came off. I expect there is something the negative reviewers aren't adding as to why their buttons came off, or they may have received a faulty pair.People think these are AUTHENTIC middle age boots:Come on guys, these boots were made for costumes, not raiding villages or fighting in wars, of course the material isn't real leather or made of thick material. They probably won't keep your feet warm through winter either. Something of such quality is much more costly.

This a was a very durable boots, worn by my brother for a Comicon costume. He felt that it was very comfortable. It was well put together. He has plans to adapt it to other costumes in the future. He definitely recommend it. It was a good fit and didn’t cause any trouble after day at comicon.
so first off the boots look nice so thats why I even gave them 2 stars but I ordered my first pair as the sizes said 10.5 to 11 when I received them I put them on and the boot was too small. I thought about toughing it out for halloween but the zipper wouldn't even zip over my calf. I took them off and the size on the boot said 10....smh. So I put in an order for a different size and style since the ones I wanted wouldn't be here in time for Halloween. I got them in and they fit but 2 nails were coming through the heel and stuck my foot, so I took them off and bent the little staple like nails down. After a few hours during halloween we were dancing and the nail caught my heel and made me bleed so I had to go to the room bend them back down and put a folded sock in there to keep the nails from doing that again. By the end of the night the rubber sole on the heel part of the boot peeled away from the boot SMH. Horrible company and Horrible product. these would work on a mannequin at best. Not made for walking and moving in. Both boots will be getting returned and I hope they have the decency of refunding my money. Pictures coming soon
At first these boots appeared high quality but they are definitely faux leather. I laced them up once and already had a button rip off. So I cut them all off and replaced them with jeans type hammer buttons with a strip of leather backing.
These look amazing and fit just as good. I would seriously buy this product again. Excellent boots.
Bought these boots for my son's Knight costume. They look great. He recently wore them to an event, walking in them all day, and found them very comfortable. I may re-enforce the buttons, but the boots held up well to a full day of walking. We are pleased with the purchase.
