I have tried several different brands of waterproof boots and each had its own downfall. One was too thin while another has little to no arch support and another was overall ill fitting. I spotted these and with the try then free for seven days why not.First they arrived on time and where what I had ordered. Myself, I ordered the same as my shoes size and with a heavy sock they fit so comfortable. I walked around the house a couple of different times to insure they didn't have to be returned. Then it was out to the garden where it had been raining on and off for three days, There was mud, tall wet grass and pavement. On all accounts they performed well, I forgot I had rubber boots on.Conclusion: Well made, comfortable, not to tall and not too short, on and off with easy and, their priced right. I have worn these all day on several occasions and they are just as comfortable at the end of the day as the start.
I love these boots. I have another pair of Muck boots and wanted a pair that would slip on and off easier. The boots usually run to size or just under. My first pair was a 12 and they require some effort to slip on. I got these in a 13 and they are my new favorite outdoor shoe. I keep these on the back porch and they slip on and off with ease. Feet stay dry and just tall enough to keep bottom of pants dry if you tuck a little. We are in FL so lots of rain, mud, etc. Garden, tractor work, etc all no problem. If you want them to slip on and off with ease, order a size up. They can run a bit warm when temps start to climb, being a rubber boot, this is expected. I am very happy with the purchase.
I've been searching for the right work boots for several years now. I grow plants for a living, and 9/10 boots, even claiming to be waterproof, will leave my feet wet at the end of the day. The thin rubber boots I've tried like "deck boots" break down from use too quickly, thicker rubber boots are too clunky and inflexible. Both leave my ankles and calves sweaty. These are a nice in-between, comfortable, flexible, but definitely still a little clunky. In my job the bottom of my pants get wet, but I'd rather that than having sweaty ankles or sores on my shin and calf like some boots are prone to giving. For working in mud and grass, these boots should be great and hold up a good long while. Unfortunately I work on cement all day long, averaging 7+ miles of steps every day. After the first day they were notably worn. About 2 weeks in, the grip is largely smoothed out on the heels. The fact that these are just slightly too big in the ankle for me, combined with aspects of my job, definitely contribute to the wear. There is still plenty of rubber left, and I plan to wear them until they're dangerously slippery or wear through. They really are some of the most effective waterproof boots I've tried and are quite comfortable. I love that you can just slip in and out of them, but they're not too loose.I will update when they give out. I've spent over $400 on work boots in the past year, so if these last me 3 months and are still waterproof, I'll be thrilled.Edit 1 year later: My Mucksters finally wore through to the point where they were absorbing water, but I definitely got several hundred, if not a thousand or more miles of walking with them. I could see these lasting a literal lifetime of someone just using them in their backyard/garden. I bought another pair, and 2 weeks in I've worn them for over 100 miles. No noticeable wear yet. I'm being more conscious of not dragging my feet and it seems to make a huge difference in longevity. My only minor complaint about these boots is that, if you walk a ton like me, there's just not enough support in the soles. My toes and arches can get a bit achy, but not terribly so, and I'm sure a nice insole would eliminate that problem. Overall a very solid buy. If you can get them under $100, even better. There are very few boots in any price range that perform as well while remaining as comfortable.
These are great for either wearing them in your back yard to get work done or dressed up on a rainy day. These are not a true snug fit. You may need to wear thick socks to get the feeling of support on top of your foot.
Just the right height for walking and working in wet grass and mud but you don’t need boot that come up to your knees.Fit true to size with a bit of extra room for bulky socks.I don’t think the tread is aggressive enough for use in the snow but it’s fine for wet grass, and marshy areas.Very comfortable to wear and they feel as if they offer more support than your typical Wellington style rubber boots.Construction is robust and I believe these will last a long time.Would purchase these again.Cheers !
Easy to put on or take off. Comfortable and very functional.
Great slip on ankle boot that is very well constructed, waterproof, and should last for many years.Pros:*great fit, but still a slip on*back of heel is thick enough that you can use your other toe to slip these off hands-free*neoprene uppers make these more slip-on/off friendly than others*brand you can trust with respect to qualityCons:*inner sole pad is flimsy and will moved around when you slip these boots off. I’d recommend using tape or Velcro to secure the pad in place to solve this issue*the boots arrive with an oily coating on the rubber (I assume this is to protect them while in storage). Wipe the coating off before walking around inside
Really nice pair of boots to keep your feet clean and dry during the rain. Good price points, compares well to Bogs. Wish it was a little cheaper, but so far the quality is there.
