I had no idea I could love a pair of running shoes so much! Adidas is generally not my go-to brand, but I've worn a few pairs in the past, thinking they were OK. On a whim, I tried on a pair of the Adidas Ultraboost 19's at an Adidas outlet store. I was amazed by the cushion and support this shoe provided.Immediately upon putting on the shoes, I could feel the firm yet soft support under my arches, support cupping around my heels and under the balls of my feet. The cushion of the shoe reminded me of memory foam, but more supportive, not squishy.I was also pleased that my true size (9.5 women's B-width) was Adidas' true size for me. My other two usual brands for athletic shoes had me in 10 and 10.5's which never did feel as good on my feet no matter what socks I wore with them as the 9.5 Ultraboost 19's did right out of the box.My feet are medium width, but I prefer a roomy toe box. The Adidas Ultraboost 19 shoes provide adequate forefoot width - allowing for foot swell - and my toes don't feel crowded in the box. The mesh fabric of the shoe is breathable, and the shoes feel well constructed overall. The cuff is soft and non-binding, the laces cinch up comfortably and the shoe's tread is not trail-ready, but good for treadmills and pavement. I can wear them with or without socks with equal comfort.Amazon's price was better than the outlet store, but to get a deal in my size I had to choose a color that wasn't my favorite. I chose the orange (peach actually) color which while not my favorite is still attractive and true to the photos on Amazon.I'm so pleased and looking forward to pouncing on another pair when I find the right deal. Highly recommend them!
Ultra boosts are my favorite but especially these ones. They are so comfortable for working out & feel like I have a good balance. Definitely not a running shoes but a GREAT workout shoe.
My last pair of Adidas shoes were the Pure Boost, and those were really great for my long distance runs. I bought these shoes hoping they too would be just as amazing and was not disappointed! Just 6 miles put on them and they feel great and normally it takes a few more miles to really break in a shoe and get that good feel. Very light but still incredibly springy and cushiony, like walking on clouds!I know other brands to include Adidas have been the victim of knock off companies sneaking in on Amazon and people thinking they have a real pair of Adidas only to have a flimsy imposter, but these are genuine! Note that on the inside of the shoe, it says 'boost' in the bubble lettering, continental clearly stamped into the bottoms of the shoe, the insert when removed shows an even and stitched underlayment and not just a bunch of glue holding the shoe together, the woven fabric on top is thick and layered while the knock off shoes typically have a thin flimsy fabric that is just patterned to look interwoven from a distance. Not these shoes! These were legit, at least from this seller. If you've never worn Adidas, I recommend trying them on in store (though I couldn't find the UltraBoost 2019 in stores yet but they're all basically the same size wise), I wear an 8.5 in brands like Nike and UA who seem to run small, but need an 8 in Adidas and just about every other non runnkng shoe brand.I firmly recommend these to anyone looking for great running shoes!
I am a 54 year old very active short woman with a size 5 foot and just found out that I have Osteoporosis. Researching for running shoes, I found this shoe on different reviews and on Consumer Reports as the top running shoe for those with Osteoporosis. Just received them one week ago. When I went hiking, walking and running last weekend, I was shocked at the quality! An absolutely incredible shoe. Never knew that a running shoe could give such support, and now I can walk, hike and run on any surface without getting a back ache or any other aches and pains in my body. Love this running shoe!!!
At first I wasn't sure about these shoes because they are rather large around the heel, but now after wearing them everyday running/walking combo for about a month or so, I LOVE them! They have a nice grip to them so you never feel like you're slipping. The back part surprisingly keeps you stable, not flimsy or floppy at all. Foot feels secure. I ran in the rain with these and they didn't seem to get affected too much and dried quite well for the next day. Stylish and comfortable. These seem best for treadmill or concrete/sidewalk running. They do not do well on other surfaces like grass or sand. Highly recommend, and I will be repurchasing when these wear out.
I wear a 6.5. I followed reviews & ordered a 1/2 down & they were too small, I recommend getting your original/true size. It’s a decent looking shoe & seems comfy except it’s overpriced & the soles are kinda thick (which I didn’t notice from pics). I decided to return them.
I love it! I am usually a size 9 1/2 wide, so I decided to get size 10. Plenty of room to move my toes around. I wore the shoes around the house for few hours to break it in, so it can be ready for our Disney trip. No regrets, it’s so nice and comfy to walk around in these shoes. I am very happy with this purchase. Great deal too. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.
I like the shoes I purchased. It is very comfortable and light.
