Beautiful and comfy, but too large.
The most comfortable shoes ever
I have always loved APL shoes - this is my 5th pair. Very comfortable, wide toe box, good arch support, fits well even with my orthodic pads in there.
This is my favorite shoe to wear for running/HIIT, Strong/Cardio/Weight Lifting and Zumba. The only reason I wear some of my other 3 pairs of workout/running shoes is to give my APLs a chance to recover. I just ordered the Tracer hoping that would be even better for HIIT. I got these shoes on super discount, I check on price obsessively until I got the price I was willing to pay. I don't think they should be this expensive. Why they work for me: perfect amount of traction. They are stable when I hit the ground for push ups, or when I do weighted lounges and squats or martial arts. They have an 8 mm drop which is right at border of being great for weight lifting. This shoe's sole is about the best I tried, and I have lots and lots of Nike that are disappointing. The upper mesh is airy but holds its shape for lateral jumps. Super super light and minimal construction, which is my first requirement for a shoe. The not so great observations: it runs small. I am a 7, ordered a 7, but by the end of an hour long workout my toes are on fire and crammed. I have a narrow foot, so that's not the issue. I just think the sizing is slightly off. That's the only negative review I have for this shoe. I can't wait to try the Tracer, hopefully it won't dissapoint.
Beautiful shoe, I have a narrow foot but these are very narrow, especially at the toe. I recommend going up a half a size.
