ASICS Gel-Cumulus 19 Women's Running Shoe, Aruba Blue/Aruba Blue/Turkish Tile, 9 M US

I've been a fan of Asics shoes for the past few years and love the comfort they provide. Now, I'm not a runner and will likely never be one. But I do workout and jump and move around quickly and these shoes are comfortable and offer good support. Too many shoes I've had in the past just don't stay comfortable and will fall apart within 6 months and that's common for most shoes sub $70. These are an older model, yet are a high end running/sport shoe that are comfy to wear all day on my feet, or when I walk alot while out and about the town. Where other shoes have failed me in the past, these shoes hold up and my feet are never sore that night or the next day like they used to be.Even if you aren't a runner, these shoes will make your feet happy if you are on your feet alot in a day. Since I've had Asics before I knew how the shoes fit and that I didn't need to worry about how they fit. If you have big wide feet, don't try to cram your feet into a medium/regular sized shoe and opt for the wider versions of your size.

I am two months in to a 100-day workout challenge, but found that I was having pain in my feet and knees due to my old (and cheap) shoes. I decided if I was making this much investment in my health, there should be an equitable investment in my workout equipment. After researching the top shoes for women for general cardio and weight training, I decided on these. I wasn't interested in anything wild looking, and appreciated that these shoes would not only get me through my workout, but were also stylish enough to wear with a pair of jeans. In addition, the aches in my feet and legs and knees was really reduced by the support of these shoes. I love them, and have worn them every single day since they arrived. They are a bit more expensive than I usually spend on shoes, but are top quality, and will definitely last longer than my usual cheap shoes.

These are good, comfortable shoes for the average runner. I've been wearing various models of ASICS for about thirty years and have never been disappointed. There are a solid shoe that wears well, and I should know based on 50-70 miles per week in training. Although a little heavy for racing, they will not let you down on training runs. Be aware that they run a little small, so order accordingly.

I received my shoes pretty quickly thanks to Amazon Prime. I've been to an athletic shop to get my gait analyzed to figure out what shoes are best for my feet. The results turned up these as one of the options. I decided to give them a try since I'm planning to run some longer distance races. They have a lot more arch support and feel much heavier than the Nike Free Runs that I was wearing before, but they're comfortable and after running in these for a month, I feel like they'll support my feet better than the more natural feel of the Free Runs. My first time wearing these, I started to get slight blistering around the ankle, so beware; they do have to be broken in. I got some band aids and kept running. After that first run, I didn't need to put on band aids, so I think it was just from being new.

Runs slightly small as with many other Asics running shoes - I wear a 8.5 dress shoe, and a size 9 in the Asics brand. The upper and sole are a bit stiff out of the box, but they soften after several runs. Toe box is a bit narrow but it did not cause any discomfort when mid-foot lacing was loosened slightly. Good overall cushioning with a relatively soft ride. This is not a light shoe. The Guidance Line that spans from the toe to heel does seem to help improve gait, although it may not provide any advantage for mid-foot strikers, who may find it somewhat restrictive. Overall, I am very happy with this shoe - its overall level of comfort is excellent. If you are a fan of the Cumulus 18, you will not be disappointed.

Been wearing Asics running shoes for years. Always get size 8 which is half size over my normal shoe size but gives me roomy comfort. I was excited to try these Cumulus and have to say they are like walking on a cloud. Super comfy. EXCEPT my toes are all the way to the end and front foot bed is somewhat squished. I definitely could not have run in them if my toes were at the end just walking around the house. Sad but have to return them. Definitely go a half size up from your normal size, even if you already have room in your normal size. And if you have a wide foot these are not for you!

Love these shoes. My second pair (and 5th pair of Asics). I ran more than 700 miles in my last pair (100 miles/month) and they were still going strong, but I’ve been told not to keep shoes longer than 400 miles so I changed them out. I’ve worn these for about 200 miles already and they still look and feel new. I do take care of my shoes and keep charcoal shoe bags in them immediately after runs, as water / sweat will destroy shoes. They breathe well (I’m in the heat in Houston, TX) and they stay tight. Just the right amount of cushion and very light (I’m 6’ 3” and 200 lbs). Shoe weight matters to me because I wear size 14, so weight can be an issue in some brands. Great for good stride, low pronation runners. Could use a little more length in the laces, but if that’s all I have to complain about, it’s a really good shoe!

I went with what would normally be a 1/2 larger that my current Asic running shoe and found the fit to be perfect.As others have noted, Asic sizing seems to be a bit variable depending on the model and the country of origin. My last pair of Asics fit tighter than I had expected for in my "normal" 43.5. My new shoes are 44.5 and feel roomy but not too loose. I may have been lucky, but these shoes fit me well and are very comfortable to run in. The bonus was that the price was low, the delivery was quick and the seller include 3 pairs of of Asic running socks as a Christmas present.These shoes were a replacement for old my Asics GT-1000 and are a much better shoe all the way around.
