Bought a pair of these after reading a billion reviews; was between this and the Nimbus 20 (I didn't see a point to buying this year's shoe for extra money). Saw many reviews about people noting the width being narrow and the toe box being tight, but if anything the width seems good to me (and I have wider feet) and the toe box just fine. Coming from a paid of Asics FuzeX Lyte, these have far more support, especially in the heel. Super comfy, well padded, nice and light, and feel like they can stand up to some punishment.
I had been waiting for this shoe to go on sale. It's a great shoe and a great value.
I'm a college student who have to walk far distances for my classes. I was first introduced to the new cumulus 19 a few year ago. I think 2 1/2. I was waiting on these pairs to come out for a while and they stopped selling the 19s as well. So I used brocks to work in but they are heavier. I seen that these shoes were available bout them got them in this past Monday. Been to work in them since then. Still feel the same. I have a small arch in my feet and I tend to (I forgot the correct word) I think overpronate my feet roll on the other edge of my foot the most. If you haven't been to a running shoe specialist please do. They will record your natural walking on a treadmill and look at your shoes to help also determine type of feet you have and what shoe will be best. I found out my running shoe size is 11.5 4e I could instantly feel the difference when I ran in the shoes they let me try on. I usually buy a size 11 cause I normally buy a half size bigger in shoe. Sorry for getting off topic but I love These shoes. These are great for that. Asics are great for running and jogging in as well. That's what I normally used them for. But I gave working in these a try. So fsr so good. I stand a d move around 8+ hours a day at work at I do it comfortably in these shoes. I will replace my shoes every 6 months as usual. It's worth it for the price. I never had a seller really ask me nicely to review and give my opinion(if they did maybe I just missed it) but I was contacted to give my review and this is one of them. I wish they would contsct me personally when the 21s come out or if they come out. Lol most definitely going to check out this sellers inventory of products again soon.
I like the fit, styling, comfort of this shoe. I don't do much running and mostly use it for walking and daily wear.Be ware that I had to order 1 full size larger. I'm not sure why this model runs so small, even compared to other Asics shoes which typically run 1/2 size small.
they are very light, perfect fit. Other people noticed them right away
Got them today so this is first impression: definitely narrower than any other pair of ASICS I’ve had, which is ok for me but it’s different. The circumference of the shoe around the foot is very small as I’ve had to let the strings out a lot and of course now the shoe strings are too short- I HATE this yet will restring and skip a section. Heel base is wide and stable. Beware, the white color isn’t really white but more a silver/gray. UPDATE: have run and walked in them- super comfortable and great shoe... the issue I still have are the too-short shoe strings... argh!
I've had these for a couple of weeks now and have put on about 50 miles of moderate running (7.5 to 8.5 minute miles). I'm pretty happy. I usually don't shell out this kind of money for a running shoe since I go through them regularly. However, these have a very nice support in the heel and my toes are not swimming in the box. I've used them in very hot weather, and they became saturated with moisture at one point. It only took a couple of hours to dry out and they continue to be in good shape. I've been with Asics for a while now. I've tried other shoes, but keep coming back to them.
Shoe has a great feel first two times running in it my foot was a little uncomfortable in the arch probalby cause i'd been running in fairly old shoes and wasnt use to the arch support.I have a slightly wider foot in a 10. So i decide to go with the wide size they offer. This was amazing fit for me. dunno if anyone else has toe/foot squeeze issue but this fit great for me. Foot has a nice fit, but relaxed feel instead just a bit too tight.Anyway shoes really nice looking. Good white to color contrast. I like it overall. i use it mostly at the gym so it doesn't see a lot of outdoors. When i do the initial tread after a year so far has been really grippy i'm sure mostly due to lack of heavy/course ground wear from mostly being an inside use, but still really like shoe. hopefully u do too :)
