ASICS Men's Gel-Excite 6 Running Shoes, 16, MID Grey/Electric Blue

I use these when I run triathlons. Not the lightest shoe ever but quite comfortable.

I bought these for my 12 year old son. He has finally graduated to adult shoes. I LOVE this brand and try to only purchase ASICS. They fit him perfectly, loved the “cool” colors, and will last him until he outgrows them. He is going through many growth spurts and for the quality and price you can not go wrong. Due to CIVOD, we were not at the gyms. Now, we have been going back. He wears them to work out in and for everyday use. He loves that they are comfortable on his feet and that his feet don’t sweat. No stinky shoes!!!

I've only had these for a little over 2 months, so I can't speak for the wear or longevity, but so far I'm very happy with them. I've never ordered athletic shoes online before, so I was concerned about getting the right size. I got my usual 10.5 (although sometime I'm 11) and they fit just a little too snugly. But I decided to keep this size and I'm fine with it being snug. They provide excellent support for my daily walks (2-4 miles brisk daily) which was what I needed because my feet started getting sore from the additional walking I've been doing since working from home during the COVID pandemic. They are giving me the extra support that my feet "sorely" needed. Highly recommended.

I've been running for 12-13 years, and I've generally ran in New Balance and Asics exclusively. Recently, I've returned to Asics, and I have a few pairs. These are decent, but they're my least favorite pair of Asics. The support is fine, the fit is fine, the material is okay, and they're well-made by a good shoe company, but you get what you pay for (as compared to, say, Gel-Nimbus line). Less support in the toe box and slight mis-sizing mean that the very front of the shoe sometimes curls up onto my toes, which can hurt in the gym or when sprinting. Fine for cross-training, biking, and jogging.

I bought this shoe at and ASICS shop, and really enjoyed it. When I finally decided to update, I found the exact shoe on Amazon. Ordered on line and got exactly the same shoe. Fit the same and didn't have to look for it. Happy with product and experience.

These shoes are just what the doctor ordered and they look and feel amazing, highly recommend these shoes.

My son picked these out. I thought they were a little weird, but they look great on him and he gets compliments on them. I will say that the colors seem substantially more vibrant to me than in the picture and are quite striking against the black. He always gets Asics because they fit his feet well and are comfortable. His last pair were a different style, and they just didn't hold up.

As a college student who loves to jog and exercise but doesn't like spending money on the fancy running brands, these shoes were a god send. They have held up for months on end. While this doesn't seem like much to the average person, to put this into perspective, I am very active and break through/ruin shoes at an unusual rate. That being said, the durability of these $54 Asics truly surprised me and they still work well to this day.
