Positives: Do you want to pretend you are a unicorn and you're racing around on the clouds? Buy these shoes! They are so comfortable and supportive, I never want to take them off. I even tried to wear them in bed, but that was a bust. :( I have wide feet (I am difficult to knock over), high arches, and I have plantar fasciitis, so I am pretty particular about shoes. These magical shoes not only look kinda cool, but fit my gross feet beautifully, support my arches, and did I mention, they are like walking on marshmallows!Negatives: Kind of spendy, but dang, re-read the above "positives" section, and do yourself a favor- be an adult for once and buy yourself one pair of real shoes!
I've been running in ASICS for over twenty-years and I have to say these are my favorite. Light, sturdy, comfortable and made for high mileage. I've even done some easy trail running in them and they are durable. I want to buy a second pair just for hanging out. These are so cute and fashionable you can even wear them with a skirt.Go get them, seriously.
Since my running days I have used Asics and love them. Another year, another number change but the fit and feel are exactly what i am use to. Light, durable for summer and consistantly comfortable. Asics dont change a thing.
I loved these sneakers! I'm always a size 10! However, the Toe box seemed very small and rounded and my left big toe was literally at the front of the toe box and there was no space so I knew once I started to run I'd be very uncomfortable. What I decided to do as I loved them that much is Im returning the 10 and ordering the 10.5. Other then the size they were beyond comfortable and had extreme cushion and I can't wait to actually go for a run in them. The colors were so vibrant as well. If you like a cushioned sneaker then this is the one. If you prefer a firmer base then this isn't the shoe for you. I gave a 4 just because I think they run slightly small.
Love the cushion, the support, the color!! I ran over 500 miles in one year with these . . . and I've never run more than 250 miles in a year before--and i did it without injury!
I love these shoes! I run 3 days a week and walk the others and have had these now for 6 months, I alternate these with 2 other pair, to try and get as much mileage as I can out of them, they hug my foot perfectly and my feet don't get too hot.
As someone with supination, I found these to be the perfect running shoe. Very light weight. I do use orthoheel active inserts in them as they are generally better for my plantar fasciitis, but the shoe itself is very well suited for my high arches and supination. On the very first run I found my speed to be improved. Since they are so lightweight, I do find my turned up toe has already worn through the top but I can't fault the shoe for that. I also like the toe box, which are wide enough not to irritate my bunions (and I wear them with bunion separators). I have problematic feet but these let me run still!! These photos are after about 2 1/2 months of running, maybe a total of 200 miles on them, so they still have a bit of life left, but you can see how they may not last as long as other heavier, more durable shoes.
I have been wearing Asix Nimbus for more than 10 years....it is the only shoe that works for my various feet conditions (planter fasciitis, super pronation). However, I made the mistake of trying this new Nimbus "lite" to see how they compared to the traditional Nimbus, and I was very disappointed. As advertised, they are much lighter, which at first I really liked. However, after only a few days of wearing the shoes, I noticed that my feet were aching a lot more than they usually do. I realized that these Lite Nimbus do not provide the same support that my feet need. I had to order the traditional Nimbus before my feet felt any better.If you want a lighter shoe and do not have feet issues, than this may be a good fit for you. However, if you have feet issues, do NOT try this shoe!
