ASICS product sneakers are a great fit and very supportive and comfortable. I highly recommend these sneakers
We love these shoes. My 14 year old daughter wears them to run cross country. They are also great for working out. They are light, but very supportive. We like black because it doesn’t get dirty as easily as other colors. With intermittent use for running, they will last at least a year. We love Asics!
She loves the support, colors, value, versatility between exceptional workouts, durable, and fit is as expected
Often heavy on feelings and light on facts in reviews so: I'm 5'10, 185-ish lbs and have high arches with overpronation. Typically wear an average-to-wide size 10, depending on the brand. This review is for the ASICS Women's Gel-Quantum 90 Running Shoes in Roselle/Roselle, size 10.I wear these shoes for exercise only. Also not a runner - my knees can be tricky - but I am an avid ellipitical user and hiker. Burned through a pair of Newton running shoes in a few months and had previous good experience with Asics. Spent a lot of time looking before finding these and chose, as silly as it sounds, primarily based on aesthetics. Didn't want all the colors of the neon rainbow this time which has been hard to find at a reasonable price point. (No offense to neon rainbows or their fans!)The shoes arrived a week early (excellent!) and felt nicer than any I've owned previously (Newton, Saucony, other styles of Asics). At first I wasn't sure they'd fit - looked smaller than my feet- but they slid on well and fit snugly but comfortably, as if I'd broke them in just by putting them on. Out of the box I went on a 4 mile hike and was well-supported but not so padded that I couldn't grip or navigate on the asphalt, grass and gravel terrain. Saw in some reviews before purchasing that others experienced poor arch support or felt that the base of the shoe is too flimsy. I didn't experience that. The shoes are light but super sturdy. Ideal as far as I'm concerned. After the walk, my poor feet, used to a battered pair of Newton's, were a bit sore but no blisters, pinching or any other discomfort. The exterior of the shoes is thick mesh and while not mega breathable, thinner fabric usually means faster wear and tear so these kicks are built to last and suitable for all seasons of outdoor exercise, if a little more sweaty in the summer. :)
So - I own a lot of sneakers. Probably more than any one person needs - but I like to "match" my shoes with my t-shirts and/or workout outfits. I'm also really "easy" on my shoes - so they last a LONG time - especially when switching out for said crazy matchy-ness. :)Firstly, these Asics were true to the colors shown on the screen for me - reddish burgundy with burgundy/maroon accents with that almost neon red lace pop! I wear an 8.5 in most sneaker brands... Nike, Adidas and Reebok - but had not tried Asics before... so took a chance and ordered my usual size. When unpacking, I was concerned they MAY be a bit narrow/tight... but I slipped on a standard sock (not thin or thick) and put my feet in them. They did feel snug around the heel and toe-box at first...but I tied up the laces comfortably and walked around my living room a bit... and my feet "settled" into the shoes very comfortably. They were NOT tight - nor would I say they were narrow - but properly snug to my feet. The soles do have a bit of squish/bounce to them... making them satisfying for running and jumping... they feel like they help you "launch" a bit. I have worn these for a few at-home DVD workouts... and some casual outings/walks.... so haven't really put a lot of mileage on them yet but feel they are well-made comfortable shoes that will last me a good while. I'm not much of a runner, and usually do my workouts indoors, but feel if a runner was to wear these daily, they'd last the recommended mileage before you'd need to replace them. I definitely would buy another pair of Asics again if in the market for a pair of shoes - and the price via this seller (Shoebacca) for my particular pair (The Chili Flake/Deep Mars color) was more than reasonable. I was happy with the color options available - not just blah or PINK...(nothing wrong with pink - just not my first choice). All in all - very happy with my purchase - and would recommend.
so comfy and pretty much the most supportive shoe i own
The color is perfect. The fit is so weird. They are long, maybe a half inch longer than usual and very narrow. I have narrow feet, so they are not too narrow, but it is just off somehow. The ankle is a little higher than Asics usual styles, which is the reason I only wear Asics. I have a metal ankle that sits just a touch lower and Asics have always fit under it, but not this pair. They also make my arches sore and tired after about 30 or so minutes. If you have long narrow feet, they might work, but I think a half size down would make it a little better.
These are really comfortable. Fit right out of the box. I wear a size 9 and they have great toe room and it dosent bother my bunion.Love them and they are cute too!
