Beautiful and comfortable right out of the box! The colors are so pretty and they even came with an extra pair of sky blue laces which I didn't expect but make the shoe look even better. There is almost no arch support, but that's what I prefer. The back digs in to my heel very slightly but I think that'll go away as I break the shoe in or I'll just wear longer socks. True to size. Shipping took a bit longer than expected, maybe because of the holidays.
These are super cute and have a great retro look to them. I bought them to do a lot of walking when I go to DC. I decided to wear them a few days to break them in and I got a ton of complements on them. They have a very stiff insole in them which is great for plantar fasciitis. They are uber comfortable and my feet felt great at the end of the day.
I love these shoes! They are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. I'm always a size 8 - 8 1/2 and I ordered an 8 1/2. The color combinations for retro/vintage style of Asics are fun and you can wear them with jeans or even a dressier outfit for something different and funky. My foot is a little wide so these hug nicely without my foot slipping around too much in the shoe and they aren't so tight that my feet hurt after wearing them. They are a great walking around shoe. One other thing to note is that these shoes have breathability! I can't stand shoes where your feet can't breathe. No one likes having sweaty feet after wearing a sock and shoe all day. I wish I could buy a pair in every color :)
They're cute as can be, but they're narrow in the toebox and chafe at the heel. They look (and feel) just like the sneakers I wore in the 80s.
I bought the Classic LYTE and the Tiger Runners to compare the two. Overall, I prefer the Tiger Runner shoe design/color options. The Tiger shoes run narrower, which works for my narrow foot. The Classic LYTE seem to be a medium width but I could tighten them enough for my narrow foot. I actually thought that the Classic LYTE shoes were slightly more comfortable than the Tiger Runners because they are more padded at the tongue and around the heel. The insoles of the shoes seemed to be the same for both shoe styles - it could be a little more plush in my opinion. Both shoes don’t have much arch support but it did not bother me because I use custom orthotics in my sneakers to compensate for my flat feet and pronated ankles.
Comfortable and super cute. So happy I bought them will buy more like this preferably black for the winter.
Very stiff fit, not the most comfortable ASICS shoe , kept in hopes of breaking it in, no luck so far
