I followed the advice of the manufacturer and ordered 1/2 size larger than my street shoes. They fit PERFECTLY and the leather is so soft. The sound of the taps are terrific, and they are great to dance in. I am a mature woman, so I have a hard time finding the perfect shoe. These have excellent support, are super flexible, and feel very secure. I had previously ordered a pair from another manufacturer that said they were "true to size," but they hurt my big toes, so I had to return them. I'm glad I switched to the Bloch. They are worth the few extra dollars!
After 35 yrs,🤣I decided to buy a new pair of tap shoes…I am so happy with my choice ..I think I tap better now.lolGreat fit and very flexible ..great price, too.
I bought these tap shoes to replace my cheaper-no name- I ever heard- of brand. I stayed with the slip-on style as I don't wanna fiddle around with laces.I do like the flex sole. The shoe is comfortable and the taps are way better sounding than my cheapo pair. Way better!!!!!!I added insoles to my shoes and they still fit comforably... They are perfectly fine without adding the insole, but my feet appreciate the extra cushion. I have calluses in same area on both feet.Size: I ordered my normal street shoe size of 5.5I tap at home about 10 hours a week using videos as my teachers. The last time I tapped in a class was probably 1976 or 1977. Happy Tapping!
I wish I got a half size bigger but these are comfortable and fun to dance in.
These shoes do not disappoint. They are high quality and flex with the foot with excellent results. After trying several brands and styles my picky dancer loves these!! Highly recommend!!
They fit perfect. Great sounding taps!
Best tap shoes I've ever put on my feet! I've always worn character shoe taps with 2" heels. I slipped these on and they are absolutely amazing. SOOOOOO comfortable, flexible, and they fit nice and snug to your feet. My work flats or dress heels size is a 10 to a 10.5, often a Wide.... I tried the 10 and the 10.5 and the 10 won, for sure. I even think I could have gotten away with the 9.5 after wearing them for a while now, so I would definitely size DOWN a little. So comfy.
These tap shoes are AMAZING. I can't say enough good things about them. They are insanely comfortable, they fit like a glove, and the sound is great. I read all the reviews where the majority people said they went half a size up from their street shoe and the fit was perfect, and then a few people said they just ordered their street shoe size and they fit perfect. So, because I normally wear between a 6.5 and 7 in a street shoe, I decided to go with a size 7 in these instead of 7.5 and they fit absolutely perfectly. I love them. If you're on the fence about these, get them!
