This is my 4th pair of Brooks Dyad 10 -- I love the fit! They work well with my orthotics and have just the right amount of cushion for me. I'm not a runner, but do walk - and these were great around Disney where we walked upwards of 20,000 steps a day, as well as for every-day errands, work around the house, etc. The only problem I have is that I need different laces with these since the ones provided are too short for my liking, but that's an easy fix.
Bought my first pair of these at a local store. I found that they run a bit short so I had to go up a half size. They're very comfortable, provide good arch support and the mesh upper allows room for bunion and hammer toes. Since I knew what size fit, I ordered my second pair from Amazon. My only complaint is that the laces aren't quite as long as I'd like and for the price of these shoes it would have been nice if they'd provided a second pair of laces since they're color coordinated to the shoe.
I have orthotics and am constantly struggling to the shoe that will help my feet stay comfortable all day. These do the trick, they are deep enough as well as wide enough to enable a comfortable orthodox fit and the neutral position is actually good because then the correction of the shoes is not competing or over correcting combine with the correction from your orthotic. The toe box was one of my fav things about this shoes just a nice wide toes box let me really spread the foot out.
I have osteoarthritis, (degenerative joint disease) and bone spurs in my feet. I also have very wide feet, which makes it difficult to find a shoe that is comfortable in my size. Growing up, my feet were usually squished, and in adulthood, the width was too tight, or the length was too long. I discovered Brooks shoes a number of years ago, and buy nothing else in walking/ running shoes now. I feel like I have good arch support while my feet are in a comfortable cocoon.
The tread is worn after 6 months. I’m not a runner and I don’t wear these all day. But they are my favorite shoes, or have been for the summer. I think they should have lasted longer. They are a very comfortable and supportive shoe. The Ghost 10 wore better so I’m replacing these with a Ghost 12, the updated version of Ghost 10. (I think.)
I love the Brooks Dyad, especially this color combination. Wish I could find more of them online, but Brooks has upgraded this shoe to a Dyad 11 and it's not available in this color. I was introduced to this brand in 2019 when I visited a locally owned shoe store and had my feet measured. I k ew I had wide feet, but was shocked to learn I needed an EE width. I purchased my first pair of Brooks that day and will wear nothing else. While these shoes are really for runners, they work great for my plantar fascitis by stabilizing my ankle and preventing my foot from rolling inward.
It’s hard to give accurate arch support score. I use orthotics. Since the insole comes out and my orthotics slip right in. It fits perfectly. I love these shoes and I am so happy i chose them! Zero complaints! I highly recommend with orthotics (I have no idea how they are with them haha)
I am a supinator, which causes pain in my feet and ankles. I also have plantar fasciitis, which is even more painful. But I need to walk for blood pressure and weight loss. This shoe is the best!! I do stretches for the plantar fasciitis, and have had physical therapy for the way I walk. Any kind of arch support causes my feet to roll back out, and causes pain both during and after walking. This shoe has no arch and allows me to walk without that rolling. My feet no longer hurt at all, something I never thought I'd experience again. I am.currently doing an energetic walk of 4.5 to 5 miles per day. Even standing for any length of time is easier. I WILL be buying another pair, and hope that Brooks keeps making this model of shoe.
