I feel like there was no break-in period needed. I got them for running and walking on my treadmill and they are perfect. Lightweight, fun colors and very comfortable. I have fairly high arches. I usually have to add arch supports to my running shoes. I haven’t had to add them to these yet but that doesn’t mean I won’t end up needing to.

I have always wanted a pair of brooks and these were just the right price for me. They are comfortable and provide a lot of arch support that I did not realize I needed. My husband and I have started a new work out routine and these shoes have helped my feet and knees a lot.

Disappointed in the look and quality of the shoelaces in these Brooks shoes. The look, feel and sturdiness is the quality you might find in a pair of Keds. I have the Brooks Ghost 13 and the shoelaces are very nice. Otherwise, the look of the shoe, the toe box width and comfort is good. I know, shoelaces can be switched out but for the price of these shoes I shouldn’t have to.
